For two weeks Delilah didn’t show up to our get togethers. It was then I realized how dependent I was on her. Crow, Roon, and Alice noticed my disposition and attitude change drastically. They constantly asked “are you okay?” and “is something wrong?” to the point where I didn’t even answer anymore. It was immature to tune them out, but none of them could understand me like Delilah could.
Then on a Saturday she showed up at my house. It was a shock, but she played it off as totally normal. I asked her a few times where she was but stopped because I knew it wouldn’t get me anywhere.
