Leaning against the staircase’s railing, I sighed, checking my watch.
I was currently waiting for my girlfriend. She and I always met here in between classes.
We had a forbidden romance. I mean, two girls dating at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and wizardry? How absurd.
“Maria? Are you there?” my girlfriend whispered. I almost squealed, but said simply, “Yes.”
My girlfriend came out from behind the corner. Her long, bushy hair was pulled back into a ponytail and she appeared to be exhausted.
“Hey,” I greeted her, pulling her close and giving her a hug,
“Hi,” she greeted back, hugging me back.
“How were your classes?” I asked her.
“They were all right. Making me tired, though,”
She yawned, stretching her arms.
“It was great seeing you, Maria. I better get back to my classes. I love you.” She whispered, giving me a kiss.
“I love you, too, Hermione.” I whispered back as she walked away.
