Fifteen year old Joey doesn't know much about her father. Just that he got her mother pregnant when she was 13 and he was 14 and was best friends with her half uncle who Joey's mom has no contact with.
The only father that Joey's ever known is Brad who has always been less than kind to her. He beats her and calls her names everyday and yet her mother does nothing to stop it.
Now Joey is being dragged thousands of miles away from all that she's ever known to live in her mother's old home state of California where she finds that five very familiar men live down the street who may just hold the key to her past.
*Yes The Rev will be alive and well in the story. I cannot bear to have him not be alive in one of my stories. If you have an issue with it then i'm sorry and feel free to read something else :)*
