Nicolette [Nikki] Carter has a brain tumor. The doctors have done everything they can, but she will die in about four months.
Nikki is a huge TNA fan. Dixie Carter is her aunt. Once Dixie finds out Nikki is dying she offers her a four-month contract as a Knockout, as a favor before she’s gone for good. Nikki agrees but makes Dixie swear not to tell anyone about her tumor.
Shannon Moore is a wrestler on TNA. He is one half of the tag team Ink Inc. He has just recently divorced his wife, Julie, and is very depressed.
When Nikki starts in TNA, the creative team puts her and Shannon in a storyline together. During these four months Shannon and Nikki can’t help but fall for each other. But Nikki keeps trying to fight her feelings for Shannon. She refuses to get attached to someone when she only has four months to live… or even less…
