What I Hate About Me

XXIV

“Alright, just take off your shirt and lie down on the bed.” He said.
I took off my shirt, leaving my bra on. You could see the scar of the bite mark.I shuddered looking at it.
I started panicking, but calmed down in a second.
I silently thanked Jasper and laid down on the bed. Carlisle came to the left and I left someone hold my right arm. I look up to see Rosalie.
I smiled at her. Carlisle softly bit down on the bite mark.
I gasped in pain.
I screamed out in pain but stopped when I remembered Sam and Jared were waiting for me outside.
I screamed mentally as I felt the blood going from my body.
I bite my bottom lip.
Carlisle pulled out and I fought against blacking out.
“Don’t fight. Let your body rest.” Carlisle said.
As he said that I blacked out.

I woke up in Carlisle’s office again.
I got up and saw Sam standing sitting there with his head in his hands.
“Sam? What’s wrong? I am all better now.” I smiled.
“Jerica.” He said looking up.
“What?” I asked.
“I’ll let Carlisle tell you.” He said.
I looked completely confused.
“Carlisle.” I called out. He came in the room.
“Glad you woke up, Jerica. I have some news for you.” He said.
I gave him a questioning look.
“Well, when I bit you, a sort of frenzy went loose in your body. The venom went straight to you heart, before I got to suck it out but I took out my venom.” He said.
“So I have venom in my body.” I said.
“Jerica, you’re a half vampire.” He said.
I looked at him with my eyes wide open.
“How is that possible?” I asked.
“Well, not enough venom went to you for you to die, because of your werewolf abilities. Instead you became a half vampire, half werewolf.”
“Hey that’s pretty cool.” I smiled.
“Well we need to check some things. Try running to the front door and back.
I got up and ran. I was back in nearly seconds.
“Fastest in the family.” He smiled.
“Try picking up the couch.” He said.
I carried the couch.
“Alright. Does your throat burn at all?” He asked.
“A bit.” I said.
Sam looked up.
“Drink this.” Carlisle said handing me a cup. It smelled like blood.
I drank it.
“Do you need any more?” He asked.
The burn went away and I shook my head.
“Good.” He smiled, “Let’s take this outside.”
I nodded my head. Sam came with us.
“Try phasing, Jerica.” Sam said.
I nodded my head and started taking off my clothes, after asking them to close their eyes.
I phased and barked.
Sam smiled when he saw this.
