Don't Worry

1.

Would you like some help with that? I can help you. Are you tired? Go lie down. Are you cold? Grab a blanket. Are you hungry? Don’t worry; I’ll make you something to eat.

“Don’t worry” is a funny phrase. Saying it to another person usually does nothing to ease their mind and make the worry go away. Actually, it seems to only put more worry on the person that said it. They offered a little friendly statement to make the situation seem better, and then the emotional state of the other person is left in their hands. Well, that’s what happened to me anyways.

Would you like something to drink? I’ll get that for you. Are you bored? Let’s go do something. My treat! Are you scared? Don’t worry; I’ll take care of you.
