"That's not fair!You guys took all the action!"
I chuckled at Shouhei who was complaing about how they had searched for us all over but ended up getting lost becasue the palace is so big.
It had been a full week now and we were setting out today.Some of the squads had left early though because they had other missions to do.The only squads that stayed were ours and Shouhei's.
Ryuji,being the heir to the palace,was going to become the lord and I trust him to take good care of Amarante.
I had already made my mind up of course.He had tried to convince me to stay but I told him the same thing all the time.
The person who I was trying to convince to come along was Gin.Who didn't want to go and didn't want me to go either to a place invested with ninja.
"Your not going,"Gin states on his bed as he rebandaged his wound.It was almost completly healed.It ahd been inches from his heart and had hit his kidney but thankfully,Hisana,the healer,was able to heal it up in time.He's going to have a scar though.
"Gin,c'mon,you can come along,"I say over to him and he looks at me in disbelief."Why would anyone want to go somewhere where ninja live?"he states and I frown."You fought alongside with them in the battle,"I state and he frowned."No...I fought alongside Ryuji,not them,they just taged along,"he corrected and I rolled my eyes."They're not so bad,it's not like there's anything here worth staying for."
"It's our home."
"I found another home now,"I say and he just looked away."It's breaking the Bushido."
"You broke it when you got infront of me to take the blow of Mitsuru,"I say to him and his eyes snap to me."That's diffrent."
"No it's not,it's the same,you have to stay loyal to your master,they don't have to ask you what they need or want,you should know.Anything to safe their life's,"I said to him and he sighed."You really do care about them?"
"I....yes,"I admit scratching my head slightly embarasssed at my confenssion.Gin stands up and grabs his jacket."Fine...but you owe me like,a bunch of things."
"Ha,yeah right!"I say going to him and huging him tightly."Thank you.We are seting out in 30 minutes so pack up.I'm going to look for Ryuji.He's been going crazy with all the cereomony things he needs to do to fully become the lord,"I said letting go of him.
"It's not like I have things to pack up.And Ryuji doesn't deserve that title!If someone deserves it!It should be me,"Gin boasted smugly.
"Whatever!"I say walking out his room and starting to walk through the hallway.Thankfully,Ryuji's room wasn't as far or else I would've gotten lost.I knocked on his door."Who?!"a wierd voice said."Gina,"I say frowning confused.Sudenly the door opens quickly and a hand grabs my wrist and I was pulled in quickly.I blinked slightly dazzeled at the sudden move and finally see Ryuji there looking warily at the door."Those...servants!Have been comeing nonstop!It's like,do you want a drink?Food?Games?Train?Spar?Dress-up?Visit?I'm sick of it!I can't stand this!"
I couldn't help but chuckle at Ryuji's state.He usually was laid-back and just people do what they want.He's not used to this."And then these guys are coming to 'measure' me so they could get the 'proper' cloths for the cermonies,and that's just not right because...C'mon!I'm a guy!I guy can't measure up another guy up!"
I watched amusingly as Ryuji continues to rabble on about how everything frustrated him and he's forced to drink tea and eat 'healthy' stuff instead of the junk food he usually ate.He loves riceballs.He's the one that passed me down eating riceballs reguaraly.He usually had one at all times and would share them to me.
I ended up laying on Ryuji's bed with my head hanging upside down and me on my back on the rest of the bed.I watched Ryuji as he went on and on pacing infront of me ,that scowl never leaving his face.Suddenly there was a knock.He immedietly panicked and jumped into the closet.
"Come in,"I call out and the door opens to reveal Sasuke and Gin.Both looking suspisously around.Ryuji peeks out and sees it them and sighs in relief.Gin looks to me on the bed and at Ryuji in the closet frowning."Isn't it suppose the other way around,since it is his room?"he questions and I frown."Shut up,it's not what it looks like and you know it or you would've killed him by now,"I say and he grins."You know me so well!"
"Yeah right,like he could lay a hand on me,"Ryuji says proudly."Says the guy hiding in the closet,"Sasuke says and I couldn't help but laugh along with Gin as Ryuji glared at Sasuke who looked at me unphased."We're setting out in ten minutes,"he says and I sighed as I got up from the bed."Your not too bad!I'm starting to hate you less!"my brother says bluntly patting Sasuke on the back.
I had noticed that Sasuke wasn't as fond with Ryuji as some people too.Him and Gin share that it common so they might become best buds knowing my brother who just loved people who hated Ryuji as much as he did.
"Already?Can't you stay longer?"Ryuji whines walking besides us."Nope,"Gin says to him and Ryuji glares at him."I was talking to Gina,"he snaps before looking at me."Stay?"
"No,we have to get to Konoha before nightfall so this is the best time to go,"I say to him and he pouts."But I've barely spent time with you!"
"Because she didn't want to,get the message already:She.Doesn't.Like.You,"Gin says emphasizing the last part and Ryuji snorts puting his arm around my shoulder."Me and Gina are best friends!"
"Oh no,"I groaned miserably.Shouhei was crazy.It was like he could pick up the worlds 'best friends' in the radar of 50 miles.He would just appear out of now where to defend his title which he took very seriously for some reason.
"In your dreams!Gina's only and true best friend is me!"Shouhei shouts appearing infront of like a bull."Get your hands off her,"Gin growls snatching me from Ryuji glaring at him before dusting me off. He was 'disinfecting' me. He says it's for my own good.
"I've known her since she was 7.That makes 6 years,"Ryuji says back at Shouhei."Well I know her since she was 10.That counts more because it's cloesr to this time!"
And so began the fight about the reasons why we were best friends.I just let out a sigh as I watched them fight for a stupid thing.
Boys are too competitive over anything.
Girls aren't like that and are more calm and easygoing,which makes we wonder why I have no real friends that are girls.
I need new friends.

I sighed at the sight of Kakashi,Naruto,Tami,Sakura and Takahiro in relief to be free from them.They had been fighting the whole way to the entrance of the village and were now thankfully ignoring each other.Niether of them had won.I didn't get into the arguemeant beacsue really,who would want to with someone crazy like Shouhei and stubborn as Ryuji?
"What's up with them?"Tami asks looking at Shouhei and Ryuji who were looking away form each other stubbornly."They're fighting over who's my best friend,"I mutter to him tiredly."Hey!I thought I was your-!"
I immedietly cover up Naruto's mouth who could've started another of their arguements."Shut up.Just shut up Naruto,"I say to him and he just nods.I let out a sigh as I let go of him and look at Sasuke and Gin who were looking at me amused."Just...shut up."
"Okay,time to set out!"Kakashi chirps happily to get to reading his Make-out Paradise.I turned to Ryuji who smiled at me."I'll come to visit,Lord Ryuji,"I say smiling at him and he groans at the title."Yeah,just be careful,and make sure that idiot doesn't get killed,"Ryuji says poitning his thumb at Gin."Shut up!"
Ryuji chuckles as he smiles at me."Take care,and if you ever need a place to stay,even though you have another home,this will always be your first home,and always welcomed here.I'm not so sure about him though,"he says glaring at my brother who snorts."I can come if I want to,"he mummbles looking away.I knew both of them were going to miss each other.They were just too stubborn and prideful that they would never admit it.At least I hope so.
"Bye Ryuji,"I say as we start walking and I wave at him."Hope they overthrow you from lord!"Gin shouts at him."Hope the ninja kick you ass!"

That's his way of showing he missed him.

"Hm,we'll see about it,"Gin says determined to think about ninja the same way he always did."You'll get used to it and like it,"I assure him and he snorts.
