I Went Out With Someone....
I dialed his number and waited for him to pick up.
First ring.
I want to spend today with him.
Second ring.
Will he want to spend it with me?
Third ring.
Does he remember me?
Fourth ring.
This is a bad idea.
Then he picks up.
"Hey Frank. Happy Birthday man. Sorry that took a while. I was still in the shower."
"Hey Bert. It's okay. Still up for hanging out today?"
"Sure. Where to?"
"Starbucks in fifteen?"
"Sound great. See ya then."
"Yeah...bring the guys with you. The more the merrier."
"Sure thing."
I put down the receiver and sighed. Well I got that over with. Now to go get ready.
