I knew she couldn’t resist it when I’m sappy, my little hopeless romantic. Shane thought.
He knew her so well.
But he didn’t expect her happiness to make him so happy that it wasn’t revenge at all.
It blew back up in his face.
Like he cared.
The smile she gave him…
So worth it.
She pulled back from the kiss, breathless, her beautiful face flushed slightly.
She was so cute after he kissed her!
“Just FYI, I was mad at you, but I’m not now.” she said, nuzzling her nose into my bare chest.
“Why were you mad?” Ok, please don’t find out about…
“You sent Aunt Lola to watch after me, and I found out she isn’t really my aunt.”
Oh, that. Phew…
“Oh, yeah. Sorry. Didn’t want the boogey man to get you!” He said, then tickled her side.
She laughed, crying, “Uncle! Uncle!”
“Uncle wants something in return.” he whispered seductively in her ear.
She shivered, and gave him a wide-eyed look.
Hehe. She thought it was something perverted…
Which it was!
“I want you to go change into that bikini you mentioned earlier.”
Relief flitted across her face.
“Oh.” she smiled sheepishly.
“Oh, having dirty thoughts, are we?”
“Maybe!” she glanced slyly up at me.
God, she was adorable!
Then she did something totally unexpected.
She lifted me off of the ground and into the pool!
“I’ll be right back honey! I’m going to change! Don’t move!”
She ran away toward the pool house.
This better be one revealing bikini to make him not kiss her senseless.
Like that would ever happen!
Just as long as she never found out what he’s been hiding from her for just a little bit longer.
