Not only can she see demons, but she can also see the lost souls of the dead walking around the earth, looking for a way out. She helps them by using special energy to open up a portal to bring them to the afterlife.
Along the line of this terrifying job she has to do every day, she meets a good, but dead, friend with one eye and a broken nose. She also meets a handsome young man who is stuck in a coma for who knows how long.
