Never Good Enough

No matter how hard I try, you don't understand me.

Nobody does.

I'm just left in the darkness, knowing you don't understand.

I am never good enough. I'm always being compared to.

You just don'tunderstand get it, do you?

I'm my own person. She's somebody else.

She's my best friend. We're alike.

But when it comes to being intellectual, she's perfect.

She spends her time studying.

I spend mine writing.

We're both going to go far in life.

You just don't comprehend that.

You never did, and never will.

I keep trying to satisfy you.

But it's never enough.
