The Monster and the Fox Riders

You are racing around the course at the Monster compound with Nick West. You finish just before him.

“Damn the girl got it,” Adam says.

You smile at Adam Jones. You get off and look at Nick.

“I don’t have the money with me right now. It’s in my pants that are in the locker room,” Nick says.

“Jones?” you ask.

“I got it,” Adam says.

“Guys you know I don’t like it when you guys place bets,” Jesse your manger says.

“They should know by now that they can’t beat me; can I go out and do the jumps now?” you ask.

“Jumps, the fuckin' girl does FMX too,” Nate says.

“No shit Sherlock,” you say.

Nate laughs since you've known him for around a year. Your phone rings, so you go and answer it.

“Welcome to Pizza Hut; what would you like to order?” you ask.

“A nice helping of my little sister at my compound,” Todd Potter says.

“I got meetings today, but tomorrow I stay and go to your compound.”

“Cool beans.”

You laugh and shake your head at him.

“Bye Sol Cal boy," you say.

“Bye East Coast girl,” Todd says.

You hang up and Adam looks at you.

“What up Jones?” you ask.

“Who were you talking to?” Adam asks.

“Um Todd Potter, I was signed to Rockstar for three years, and we just clicked,”

“So you guys are dating?”

“No, I’m not in to dating a team member.”

“That’s why you switch?”

“I did not switch. I got dropped from Rockstar and Monster picked me up.”

“What happened?”

“I didn’t know that Todd and me were on video, and I says something along the lines that I hate Rockstar, it’s a piece of crap, you'll never see me drinking it, don't buy it. I was messing around, but it’s true. I even says I fill my water bottle up with Monster a lot of times; I didn't drink Rockstar. Management saw it so I got dropped.”

“Hey Blair,” Kyle Loza says.

“Kyle!”

You go and hug him.

“She likes Kyle and not me,” Adam says.

“Of course, Jones, because he is great and got me this,” you say.

“I got help; the video did it,” Kyle says.

“How many people know about this video?” you ask.

“Potter told me it got put on the Mulish site.”

“Fuck it, they just going to cause me more damn problems.”

“You're signed to the Mulish?” Adam asks.

“No, but I might as well be, I mean I got the patch on my jersey.”

“You are wired,” Jesse says.

“You deal with me.”

“You want to go outside?”

“Yep.”

“Come on.”

You go to your bike and did a wheelie as soon as you got out.

“Stop it. Don’t get hurt,” Jesse yells.

“The bike isn't even on,” you say.

“Stop, Blair.”

You stop and take off on the course. You start go to the jump and you hear Jesse yelling; you ride up to him.

“Blair!" Jesse yells.

“Jess!” you say loudly.

“You got the photo shoot.”

“But Jess, I don’t want one.”

“Why not Blair?”

“I don’t think photo shoots are fun!”

“Life isn’t always fun.”

“I want my life to always be fun.”

“Too bad, you are doing this photo shoot.”

“It’s fine.”

“You got to get changed anyway.”

“Why do I have to get changed?”

“Because you have nothing on for Monster.”

“I got my Rockstar gear still, you want to put that on?”

“No, I didn't tell you to change in to Rockstar, I said change.”

“Well, do you have my Monster gear?”

“Yes, here it is.”

You go and get in the new Monster things, then look at Jess.

“Hello. You are Blair I take it?” a guy asks.

“Yes I am. Who are you?” you ask.

“I am Lars, the photographer for Monster.”

“Cool.”

He tells you to gear up and shouts some tricks he wants to see out of you. You perform the tricks, but fall halfway through a 360.

“Shit Blair, are you okay?” Jesse asks.

“Yeah, I didn’t hit my head.” you say.

You stand up and look around; you see Bilko looking at you. You look down and sigh, since he is high up on the list of good riders to you. You go and ride to the photographer.

“That is good, are you done practising?” Lars asks.

“Yes she is," Jesse says.

“OK, go change and I'll get some pictures of with Monster street stuff on.”

“Here is your can of Monster for the day,” Jesse says.

“Great,” you reply.

You take it and drink it while coasting the bike to your truck. You put it up and smile at the time. You call Todd.

“Hello?” Todd says.

“Hey, so are you going to ride after lunch?” you ask.

“Are you free?”

“Yep.”

“We should go to Vegas,”

“I can’t Todd. I got things to do. My work starts in a month.”

“You need to race against girls.”

“I need to race racers.”

“Josh works for you.”

“You can’t volunteer people Todd!”

“He is practising today, and he says he'll be here tomorrow, so I figure it a good idea.”

“That is true, but bye Bro.”

“Bye Girly.”

You hang up and go inside to the dressing room. You dress into your outfit, put on makeup, make sure the hat looks good, then go out and run in to someone.

“Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t know that door opens,” an Australian accent says.

“It’s fine, I didn’t get hurt,” you says.

“That’s good. I’m Bilko.”

“Blair.”

“Yeah, I hang around the Mulisha enough to know about you," Bilko says.

“They really talk about me when I’m not there? I thought Cam was joking about it," You say.

“You not friends with them?”

“I am, but it’s hard to explain how my mind works.”

“I understand Sheila.”

“Blair!” Jesse says.

“Jess!” you say.

You go to Jesse and lean against him.

“Don’t flirt.”

“You know my rules,” you says.

“I also know your type of guy.”

“What you mean?”

“You love Australian guys.”

You shake your head.

“I hang around with Jacko because he is closer to my age then the other people I hang around.”

You go and take a couple pictures and get in your car.
