The Monster and the Fox Riders

It’s been a month since Bilko left and it’s the first day of the Crusty tour. You are at Monster super cross track getting ready to ride when your phone rings so you grab it.

“Hello” You said.
“G’ day Blair” Bilko said.
“Hey Bilko”
“How are you doing?”
“I’m good so what you doing?”
“Looking that the crazy jump Jacko is doing his new trick on and it shall be great”
“Variation of the front flip?”
“360”
“He got a pad and everything?”
“Yeah it is padded so what are you doing?”
“Getting ready to get on the super cross track at Monster”
“Oh cool. Who is all there?”
“Right now no one, Ryan V said he be here today as while as Josh maybe Kyle”
“Josh Hanson?”
“Yeah, they both do super cross”
“Right”
“What wrong Love?”
“I miss you”
“I miss you too love”
“You have been working on the 360?”
“Yeah I have, but what is wrong honey?”
“I’m know how to video chat”
“I brought my lap top let me go turn it on and we talk till you got to go”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah it’s fine’

You get your lap top and turn it on and go inside the haul to lean against the wall. Josh come in with his girlfriend.

“Hey Blair” Josh said.
“Hey” You said.
“What to race?”
“Soon”
“Soon?”
“Sheila” Bilko said.
“Hold on let me get everything on Bilko”
“I see, Kayla is coming also” Josh said.
“Leave me alone”
“Missing the Aussie?” Kyle ask.
“I’m talking to him”
“Sad that she rather see all the Aussies then any one of us.”
“Because they are better, and there are only three Aussies”
“Three?” Josh ask.
“Cam, Bilko, and Jacko but now Kyla go before I get in Best trick and take your gold medal away”
“Hey what about me?” Bilko said.
“Ok I’m on”
“I see you”
“We going to hang up now ok”
“Yeah ok”

You hang up and talk to Bilko a little bit before he has to go get ready for Crusty. You smile and send him a text message saying good luck, you love him and miss him. You put your laptop away then change in to a jersey shirt.

“Where is Bilko anyway?” Kyle ask.
“Crusty” you said.
“I see”
“Wait you are dating Bilko?” Josh ask.
“Yeah why?”
“You dated Chad Reed and Luke Parslow. He is so not your type of guy”
“I’m happy with him and he has a couple things in common with both of them?”
“What he is an Aussie?” Kyle ask.
“On monster and had the number 22 but that is Chad whatever”

Josh looks at you.

“It was his racing number look it up boy, let’s race” You said.
“You can’t take me” Josh said.
“Watch me Hanson”

You get on your bike and line it up.

“Baby countdown” Josh said.
“Pig” You said.
“What want Kyle to do it”
“No I be the judge and play nice” Kyle said.
“We will” You said.

His girlfriend gets in the middle and Count down. You beat Josh then Beat Kyle. You put your bike back in the haul.

“You leave one here?” Kyle ask.
“For now since I’m here ever other day almost” You said.
“Why?” Josh said.
“No good track, I do the speed and style course at Brian’s place”
“You should do that at x-games” Kyle said.
“I should but I’m going to go and ride with Twitch after food”
“Where you going?”
“At Twitch’s since Taka went home I’m fine around there”

Kyle laughs and you throw your bag in the bed of the truck.

“Need help with your bike?” Kyle ask you.
“No I got it and I can take care of myself. I just need my phone and Lap top” You said.

You run and get them then go to your truck.

“Bye guys” You said.
“Bye” Kyle and Josh yell around the same time.

You hug them and drive up to the monster head quarters and get some Monsters. You go to Twitch’s house after dropping off the monster and getting your freestyle bike on your bed. You pull up to Twitch’s house and get out.

“What up Blair” Twitch ask.
“Crusty stared” you said.
“Why did Bilko leave like a month ago?”
“To be down there to train”
“I see so you miss him?”
“Yeah and I’m hungry”
“Come on”

You inside and grab a plate. You sit down on the counter and start eating.

“So Twitch who is all riding with us today?” You ask.
“Me, you, Ronnie, and Nate” Twitch said threw bites of food.
“I thought Potter said he be coming?”
“He was but James Stewart said that he wanted to flip and Potter wanted to watch that”
“Potter is a weirdo”
“Why are you saying that” Todd ask.
“You like teaching people how to flip” You said.
“it worked for you?”
“You didn’t teach me how to flip, Ronnie did”
“No I didn’t” Ronnie said.
“Runner, out in the east coast”
“Oh right and didn’t Cam also help”
“Yeah and Jacko since we learn the front flip together”

Todd laughs and Ronnie goes outside.

“Hey he is only like a year and a half younger than me so shove it” You said.
“Hey you were at the Men’s Super cross 2 years ago at x-games?” Todd ask.
“Yes I was, why Todd?”
“I want to do an old school tricks comp”
“Why you can’t do the old schools tricks”

Todd push you off the counter. You push him away and look at Jeremy.

“It’s all clean?” You ask.
“Yeah, want to go riding?” Twitch ask.
“Yeah, I came from Corona for racing, and I’m working on something new so is the foam pit in motion?”
“Yeah, Ronnie is out there already”
“Ok”

You go and get change again and load your bike down. You go to the foam pit and start on working on the 360 with Ronnie help. Todd came out as you come from the Foam pit.

“What you working on?” Todd ask.
“You don’t need to know” You said.
“Whatever and I can do it better”
“Shut up”

You go and take off towards Jeremy’s Freestyle jumps. You did those a couple times before going out and loading your bike up.

“Need help Blair?” A guy ask.
“I got” You said.

You look and see Josh.

“Ok, leaving?” Josh ask.
“You can’t leave yet Blair” Todd said.
“Yes I can, and I will” You said.
“Are you coming over Blair?” Ronnie ask.
“Ronnie”
“Come on”
“She is with Bilko” Todd said.
“I know and she is like my daughter Potter”
“Yeah idiot” Nate said.

You hug Nate.

“Wait isn’t tonight church” Jeremy said.
“Yep he is trying in to making me come” You said.
“Why don’t you since it’s easy to see you believe” Ronnie said.
“That’s the thing Ronnie. I really don’t know if I do when I’m out and crash I believe but when I’m doing great I stop. It’s fucked up and I know but I just don’t really know if God is real”

Ronnie looks at you.

“When did this happen?” Ronnie ask.
“It always was there so that’s why I never really be going to church plus I worship my bike. I’m a sinner and will be one for a while” You said.
“Come with me just for tonight”
“Not to night Ronnie, just not tonight”

He looks at you and opens his arms out. You hug him and he kisses your forehead.

“You know I hope you come by your own will at some point?” Ronnie said.
“Maybe I will Ronnie maybe I will” You said.
“Do you pray when you hurt?”
“No I just start thinking there is a god there and that is what I get for not doing his rules about certain things”
“Like sex” Todd said.
“Fucken Potter shut up” you yell.
“Come on you know the only guy she has had sex with while you were watching her has to be Bilko” Twitch said.
“Twitch shut up” you said.
“Yeah she isn’t a slut. She wouldn’t sleep with guys on the first date” Nat said.
“She was with Luke” Todd said.
“It was 2 weeks and you walked in on him trying to kiss me, but good bye” you said.
“You are leaving with no dinner?” Twitch said.
“No dinner. I’m sweaty, dirty and in need of a shower and I ate lunch anyways”
“You a party Popper” Potter said.
“Shut up Potter. I’m coming out with you tonight remember”
“Oh yeah”
“Remember Potter she has a boyfriend” Ronnie said.
“Hey I know, you got to reminded Manley and Hahn of that”
“Who Hahn” you ask.
“Will Hahn, dose MX with Grant here?”
“Doesn’t’ ring a bell”
“Really?”
“He doesn’t matter to me”

Todd laughs and hugs you.

“But on to the old school tricks” Todd said.
“Because Grant’s here” You ask.
“Why do you say that?” Josh ask.
“He talk about 010 x-games add that with old tricks we get you for your qualified round”
“You remember that. I thought I won’t matter”
“True but for a super cross guy to do that, it’s really cool”
“I see”
“And thus you matter to her, but not as much as me right” Todd ask.
“Of course not Potter, no one matters more then you”
“Really” Twitch said.
“While there is Ronnie, my grandparents”
“Hey how did that trip go anyways?” Twitch ask.
“It went fine. Better than the others got more time with my grandparents then with my parents and road a little while I was out there”
“I see”
“Yeah, but any ways I’m going to go now”
“Ok bye Blair” Ronnie said.
“Bye guys”

You get home and take a shower then go in the kitchen and heat up left over pasta over and start eating when your phone goes off again. You grab it and see it’s Jacko.

“Hey, what up little dude?” You said.
“Nothing, just figure you want to watch Bilko live” Jacko said.
“You got it up?”
“Yeah, Brooke got everything set up”
“Ok I turn on the computer”

You turn it on and hook it up to your Tv.

“It’s all big now?” You said.
“Yeah so how are you doing?” Jacko ask.
“Good landed a 360”
“That’s good”
“Ok you up”
“Up”

You smile seeing the course.

“Ok you see everything?” Jacko ask.
“Yeah thanks Jacko and Brooke” You said.
“No problem. He is going for a trick he wanted to do at X-games but didn’t thinking it wouldn’t win”
“Is it padded?”
“Nope”
“Why not why is he doing it”
“It be fine, wait up”
“Whatever”

Brooke came on screen.

“Where Jacko go?” You ask.
“He just took off running” Brooke said.
“Idiot”

Brooke laughs and smile at you.

“How are you doing?” Brooke ask.
“I’m doing good, what about you?” You ask.
“I’m doing good, but hey when are you free?”
“Um after x-games for any real time there”
“But”
“There are going to be things I go to most of the ones I’m not in but Madrid. I can’t stand doing that so close to x-games”
“I understand and that’s good since I miss you”
“me to Brooke me too”
“Hey Sheila” Bilko said threw the phone.
“Hold on Brooke”
“Ok” Brooke said.
“Hey Love”
“Hey Sheila”

Your door bell rings. You look at the door

“What was that?” Bilko ask.
“My door Bell” you said.
“Who is at the door?”
“I haven’t open it, how are you doing?” you ask getting up and walking to the door.
“Good, I’m going to go for a new trick”
“I wish you wouldn’t”
“Sheila I got it”
“Have you land it before?”
“Yeah a lot before x-games and again before crusty”
“Ok”

You open the door and see Brian.

“Um what you need General?” You ask.
“Bible study?” Brian ask.
“Um eating and watching Crusty”
“You can’t watch crusty it’s not on TV”
“The beauty of having people there that love you and I want to see Bilko, so no good bye”
“bye”

You close the door and go and sit on the couch.

“How are you feeling Bilko?” you ask.
“Good, how was riding?” Bilko ask.
“It was good, Todd has gone insane”
“What you doing tonight?”
“Going out with Potter to make sure he doesn’t become a stupid idiot”
“You going out to other club?”
“It’s with Todd, Manley and some other dude”
“Some other dude?”
“Are you mad?”
“No I’m just. Since we meet you haven’t come out to clubs, but”
“We meet when I didn’t have to worry about taking care of Potter don’t you get it. It’s how we are”
“So this is normal?”
“Yeah this is normal, why do you sound so shock?”
“It’s just you don’t seem like it?”
“I don’t go wild I just go to hang out with people because I go off on my own while I ride”
“Ok, I got to go, I need to go”
“Ok bye”
“Bye,”
“Good luck”
“Will be”
“I watch you”
“Oh thanks”
“No problem”

You hang up and look at the TV.

“Hey Blair when are we going out tonight? What the hell is on the TV?” Todd ask.
“Shut up, it’s a web cam of Crusty Bilko is going on” You said.
“Oh cool”
“Shut up”
“See everything?” Brooke ask.
“Yeah I see everything Brooke”
“What’s special about today?” Todd ask.
“First day and Bilko doing a newish trick”
“Oh cool”
“Yeah yeah shut up Bilko is on”

“Oh you miss your Aussie” Todd said threw laughing.

You blast the volume and put your hand on Todd’s mouth.

“I know its hard Todd but be quite” You said.
“Fine fine, come over after this” Todd said.
“Ok”

He leaves and you smile as you see Bilko going up the ramped. He landed the trick perfectly. You turn the volume down once Bilko was done riding. You turn the computer on and turn the TV to Fuel texting Todd that you don’t feel like going out. You fell asleep watching New Generation.
