The Monster and the Fox Riders

You get out just before race time and get on your bike.

“Sheila,” Jacko asks, running to you. “What happened?”

You stare straight at him. “Bilko hurt me. He led me on when he never wanted me.”

“No,” Jacko argues. “He wants you. I know him too well to know he really is in to you.”

“He doesn't want to date,” you counter.

Barely thinking about the race, you go to the course and put on your helmet and goggles. You win and do some post-race interviews. When you get back to your RV you see Todd, Bilko and Jacko sitting outside.

“Good job Sheila!” Jacko says.

“Thanks,” you say, before going inside to change. When Todd comes in you go to hug him, before sitting down, sighing.

“You should hear him out, baby girl,” he says.

“No. I'm over him. I want nothing to do with him.”

“Blair, you like him,” he reasons.

“He fucking hurt me. I don't want him around me. I just can't have him around.”

“Blair, Bilko is just confused. Just look at him out there!”

You go to your window, noticing a sad-looking Bilko perched outside.

“I don't want to play games,” you say.

“He was afraid you didn't like him. He was sure you didn't like him.”

“But he knows now?”

“He knows. Can I send him in?”

You nod, quickly prompting Todd to bring Bilko in. You can't help but smile as Bilko comes in and sits next to you.

“I'm so sorry,” he begins. “I didn't think you liked me. I didn't want you to hate me for me going for you. But you hate me now, so...”

His sentence is cut off as you kiss him. He pulls you into him as you straddle him. He pulls away and smiles at you as you kiss him again.

“Be my only Sheila?” he asks.

“Or the American word would be...?”

“Girlfriend,” he corrects. “Be my girlfriend?”

“No switching minds like you did before,” you warn. “Just don't mess with my emotions.”

“I promise, Sheila.”

“Then I say yes,” you say with a smile, kissing his cheek. “I've got to go do some more interviews,” you explain.

“Sure thing.”

You go outside and walk to the press place. You get through your interviews and run into Sherrie on the way back.

“So, the jerk problem,” Sherri says.

“Don't insult my boyfriend.”

“Are you sure about seeing him?”

“Positive.”

“Okay...so, want to go out on a double date sometime?”

“Blair,” Todd calls out. “Come here and be the first Mulisha girl!”

“I think I'm going out tonight to celebrate this,” you explain to her.

“Text me the club you end up at,” she reminds as you walk over to Todd and Twitch.

“So, this make up for you getting fired from Rockstar?” Twitch asks.

“Guess so.”

“I put on the Mulisha stickers,” Todd explains.

“Better not have covered any of my graphics!” You warn as Brain comes over to hug you.

“Hey, what happened before the race with Bilko and Todd?” Brain asks You.

“What are you talking about?” you ask.

“Todd seemed ready to beat him, and Bilko just...wasn't Bilko.”

“It's fixed, okay?” Todd replies.

“That's all I'm getting, aren't I?”

“All you're getting out of me.”

“They won't tell me anything,” Brain whined.

“Too bad for you!”

You go over to your bike and see all the Mulisha stickers on it.

“Thanks, guys!”

“No problem. But, you need a bigger patch,” Todd explains.

“I have two Mulisha patches!” you protest.

“The Lusk one doesn't count!”

“Leave the girl alone, Potter,” Lauren says, walking towards them.

“Lauren!” you scream, hugging her tightly. “What are you doing here?”

Her answer is interrupted when Jesse stomps up to you. “I quit,” he explains.

“But Jesse, you've been with me since I really started!”

“I can't deal with you, you don't listen to me.”

You look at him oddly.

“Don't listen to you? I fucking jump at your words! I might fight about it, but I do do everything.”

“I told you one thing to not do and you go and fucking do it.”

“What?”

“Told you to not fucking date guys you're signed with, then you go and date Bilko!”

“They're dating?” Jacko asks. “Since when?”

“I don't know, but they were seen kissing just as she went to practice.”

“How'd you find out about that?” you ask.

“Simple. People saw you,” he replies. “Break up with him, or I quit.”

You look at Lauren, who hugs you tight.

“Guess I'm your manager now?” she asks.

“Guess so,” you reply.

“I've got to be. Not to mention, I know how; I was Jeremy's before.”

“True. So...you'll do it?”

“I'll do it,” she agrees. You turn to Jesse, wishing him goodbye. He leaves and arms wrap tight around you. You look and see Bilko, and you smile as you lean into his chest.

“So,” you begin, “What are we doing 'til night time?”

“Nothing really to do,” Todd says.

“Let's go paintballing!”

“Not during season,” Lauren says. “You'll get hurt.”

“Oh come on, Lauren,” you protest. She shakes her head again. “Fine, mean person,” you relent. “What about a club? What's a good club here, Todd?”

“Why ask me?” Todd asks with feigned hurt. “Anyway Blair, you're 20, you can't drink. Most clubs won't let you in.

“Good point...what about a hotel party?”

“Sounds good. Who's hotel?”

“Ours, since it's a good one,” Todd says. “Knowing you, you've just got the one closest to the track, not caring if it's good or not.”

“I don't have a hotel room,” you counter. “I don't stay at any hotels during races. It's here one day and then you go home, so why get a hotel?”

“She's right,” Lauren says.

“I know I am.”

“What are the rules at the hotel?” Bilko asks.

“I don't know. Let me go see if we can get a ball room.”

“For tonight? Todd, you crazy?”

“No!” he laughs. “It'll be fine. I'll check it out.”

“I guess I'm staying in someone's room,” you finish. You go to the RV and get your clothes bag. Bilko takes it off you as you leave. You smile and hug.

“So, where shall we go?” Bilko asks.

“Hotel,” you answer. “You coming with us, Lauren?”

“Yeah, I'm just getting a few things.”

“Did Jess call you?” you ask.

“Yeah. Since his wife is pregnant he wants to get me used to this so he can go with her, then start back. I don't think he's pissed at you for being a human. Go have fun.”

You all go to the hotel.
