Birth
It’s a week and a half before x-games and you are sitting outside talking to Marissa while the Min Deegans are playing with your dogs and Bilko is working on best Trick.
“What is wrong?” Marissa asks.
“Contractions” You said.
“How far apart are they?”
“Um a while”
“Tell me when the next one hits ok”
“ok, now”
“The next one also”
“Ok”
“Need anything Blair?” Jacko ask.
“Dr. Pepper”
“Sure thing”
He goes inside and brings it out.
“Now” You said.
“You are five minutes apart, Jacko get Bilko” Marissa said.
“Um ok why?” Jacko asks.
“She giving birth”
He runs over. You get your phone and call your doctor.
“Hello” The worker said.
“It’s Blair, I’m having contractions 5 minutes apart” You said.
“Come in”
“Ok bye”
“Bye”
You hang up and Bilko is coming.
“What is going on?” Bilko ask worried.
“I’m giving birth goes change” You said.
Bilko runs and you stand up. Marissa helps you and gets you in the van. Bilko comes in and look at you.
“So let’s go” Bilko said.
“Yeah let’s go, the dogs” You said.
“Me and Jacko got it” Marissa said.
“Thanks”
“No problem”
Bilko drives to the hospital. You get out and they pull you in a while chair. You go in a birth room and they set you in.
“Bilko” You said.
“Yes Sheila?” Bilko said.
“I’m scared”
“What about?”
“What if something goes wrong”
“Nothing is going to go wrong”
“But”
“Shelia Everything will be ok”
The Doctor comes in and smiles at you.
“How are you doing Blair” The Doctor asks.
“I’m scared” You said.
“Don’t be scared this will turn out fine. You were good two days ago when I checked you last”
“But there can be problems in birth”
“Let me see how the baby is”
He touches your stomach and smiles at you.
“The baby is ok. Don’t stress out ok” The Doctor says.
“So am I doing ok?” You ask.
“Yes just going to wait a little more and we go in the delivery room”
“Ok”
“Get her to calm down Dad”
“I’m not your dad” You are said.
“Sorry about that”
Bilko looks at him then looks at you once the doctor is gone.
“Explain to me Shelia?” Bilko ask.
“He getting you knows that this is your kid and you becoming a father” you said.
“oh ok. So look at me spinning in a chair”
He spins around and the chair tilts so he fell down.
“Are you ok” You ask laughing.
“No I got hurt” Bilko pouted.
“What?”
“It needs a kiss”
You laugh and look at him. He points to his cheek. You kiss his cheek then his lips. He smiles at you and kiss your forehead.
“Everything will be ok Sheila believe in me. I know I most likely don’t have your trust but trust me” Bilko said.
“I trust you Bilko” You said.
“You an angel Shelia”
“Are you scared?”
“Of you giving birth no of being a father yes how can I not be. Blake is going to be so small”
You grab a hold of Bilko’s had and whimper in pain.
“It’s ok Shelia we be ok” Bilko said.
“It really hurts Bilko. This is worst then falling down with the bike on you.” You said.
“It’s going to be ok. It’s going to go away with the shot”
“I’m not getting the shoot. I can’t do that. They can kill me”
“Ok it is ok we going to make it through this and be with our oldest son”
You smile and he kisses your forehead.
“It’s going to be ok Shelia. I won’t let anything happen to you two” Bilko said.
You look at Bilko and he smiles at you. The doctor comes in and looks at you.
“You are ready to go in the room. You good with the pain to come in right before the birth starting” The Doctor said.
“How much longer?” You ask.
“Don’t know depends on how much this baby wants out but let’s get you in the room now”
They move you to a delivery room but Bilko didn’t come in with you.
“Why isn’t Bilko coming” You ask scared.
“Got to get all ready just real quick” A nurse said to you.
“He will be in?”
“Yes in a minute”
“Ok”
You wait and Bilko comes in with the gown, gloves and hat. You smile and Bilko kiss your lips.
“You doing ok?” Bilko ask.
“Yeah don’t leave” You said.
“I won’t leave you till this is over”
You smile and listen to the doctor and the deliver only took 2 hours. Bilko Smiles and kiss your forehead.
“The little Joey is ugly” Bilko said.
“They are all ugly when they first come out honey. I’m tired” You said.
“I love you Blair”
“Yeah yeah”
You let your eyes close and cuddle in to Bilko.
“What is wrong?” Marissa asks.
