Benjamin Eli Hall, is a sixteen year-old boy growing up in the streets of "The Windy City", Chicago Illinois, with his mother Ava Hall- a waitress at a local diner.

Brody Elwin Haner, Ben's identical twin brother, lives 'the good life' in California as the son of thirty-four year old 'rock-star', Brian Haner Jr.

Both parents agreed to raise the boys separately as a result of a harsh end to a rocky relationship. Therefore, neither twin knows that the other exits.
