Drown

How does it feel?

Evan glanced at himself in the bathroom mirror and saw him in the corner, the boy with the beautiful face and cruel intentions. Evan’s hands trembled violently while sweat drops started wetting his face. The boy in the background shrugged his shoulders questioningly.

“Why?” Anger flooded his non-existent eyes, betraying his cool voice. Evan choked out a whimper.
He heard water filling the sink and began crying.

He felt his face suddenly hit water. Evan clawed at hands he believed weren’t his own. In his mind, the cruel boy was hurting him.

“You’ll feel what it’s like to drown, and you’ll never drown me again.”

The idea was that Clozapine takes away or 'drowns out' delusions and here the delusions are coming back and causing the patient to self harm. I enjoyed the prompt and writing this. The 100 word limit was a pain though.

Let me know if you liked it and tell me how I did with the limit.
