"I can't!".

A brute force pushed me back and held me down,a set of hands slipped into both of mine.My eyes widened as I noticed I wasn't in the typical white hospital room.I didn't exactly know where I was.

"You're going to be okay Velair.They're going to fix you",Tony kissed the back of my hand.

I looked at him,frightened by his words,"Fix?".

"You'll make it out okay babe",Mike said brushing my bangs out of my eyes and kissing my cheek.

A low growl came from where Tony sat.I was too caught up in looking up at the two male nurses holding me down.I was never any good in situations like this so it was no surprise to me when a scream tore from my throat.

"Don't you dare hurt her".I could pick out that voice in a crowd,Jalen.My sweet Jalen.

She was at my side in a flash and the two nurses were gone."Are you okay?".

"Where am I?What am I doing here?".

She wiped the sweat from my forehead,"You're in the ER.The shackle went haywire and it made your heart momentarily stop.You basically had a stroke but you'll be fine once they medicate you"

I layed back down on the uncomfortable metal surface,"That explains alot..no more morphine please!I'm only so far away from becoming addicted".

Tony kissed my hand again,"You wont and explains what?".

I smiled at him as Jalen combed her fingers through my hair,"I got to talk to my dad".

Jalen's fingers stopped momentarily but started back up when she saw me smiling up at her.

"What'd he say?",Mike brought my attention to him.

"Just..to be careful.And not to let boys touch me or he'd hurt them".

Jalen laughed,"He really got you two there".

Both boys let my hands drop,I couldn't help but laugh,"But I told him I was old enough to do what I wanted".

"That you are",Tony smiled at me while reaching for my hand again.

"What exactly are you doing?".

"I don't think it could look anymore obvious.."

Jaime popped his head into my room,"We're going on vacation?!".

I laughed "Nooooo...I'm going.You're staying here with Jalen".

"Excuse me!You're not leaving me here",Jalen glared at me.

Jaime pouted,"You don't want to be here with me?".

She wrapped her arms around his waist,"I wouldn't mind".

It was official.They were dating and that was obviously a very good thing.Yay my craziness had brought them together,wasn't I awesome?

"Ahem!".

They pulled apart as Leila walked in towing Vic behind her."Where are we going?".

I sighed,"Again,only I am going.You are all staying here".

Vic shot me a look,"So you're going...where?".

"Who's going where?",Mike sauntered into my room and plopped down on my bed,"Where are we going?".

I slammed the suitcase shut,"I am going away,by myself.And you",I looked around at all of them,"are all staying right here.Okay?".

Jalen grabbed my shoulder,"Velair you just got back from the hospital.You can't go anywhere alone".

I placed my bags on the floor,"Oh I can and I will".

"No.You can't",I felt two arms wrap around my waist.

"I..I'm going T-Tony".

Later that night everyone had decided to stay over.Probably in hopes of keeping me here.The more eyes around the harder for me to go unseen,luckily for me they were all shut.I love the late hours.

Time was currently my only companion.The clock flashed 1:45am and Jasper still wasn't home.Dad had told me to leave,that was roughly 24hrs ago,but I couldn't not without leaving some trace of my being behind.

Leave before he gets here,or else you'll never make it out alive.Please just go.

I sighed.My life was all about running away,looked like that's all it was going to be.

I walked into Jalen's room and upon seeing her lying asleep with a discrete smile on her face I felt a lone tear roll down my cheek.

"I really hope you know...I love you".

My whisper was barely audible to myself,but even in her sleep I knew she could hear me.I walked over to the bed as quietly as I could,smiling when I saw Jaime's hand tighten around her.

"He's going to make you really happy someday",I leaned forward and gently kissed her cheek.

Leaving Jalen behind was breaking my heart.
I spun on my heel and backed out of the room,being too caught up in the scene before me I didn't notice the figure behind me until it was too late.

A hand cupped over my mouth to muffle the scream.I was not a surprise kind of person.

"It's Tony not the bogeyman",I heard him chuckle.

My hand came up to smack his chest,"You could have driven me into another stroke..jesus!".

I steadied my breathing long enough to notice that my bags weren't alone.There were several other scattered around the door.My eyes shifted upwards to meet Tony's.

"What?Did you really think I was going to let you go off on your own?".

For the first time in a long while,I smiled because I really wanted to.
 
"I was secretly hoping you wouldn't".
