And I'm wishing that I could take your hand
And set you on some untouched land
Just so you are never sad again
And you world you have known will somehow end
Johnny wishes every night he could take Caitlyn’s hand & say I love you. Caitlyn wishes that Johnny could take her hand & say I love you to her. They both wish they could run away with each other & find a place & maybe have a life together. Johnny doesn’t want Caitlyn to be sad anymore, he knows that it wasn’t her fault that her dad left her. Caitlyn wishes that someone other than her mum says to her that it wasn’t her fault that her father left her. They don’t want their world to end, they want each others world to get together as one.
