Teenage Dream

They pulled up to a house that was only a short fifteen minute drive from Johnny’s Bar. The house looked like a typical suburban home with the bushes neatly trimmed along the driveway paved with bricks. A black car with two red stripes starting from the trunk to the hoodie, sat in the driveway shining in the light; obviously it had just been washed.

Nicole seemed a little shocked to find a Manhattan looking home in some where other than Beverly Hills when she stayed with a movie star for the day after a photo shoot.

Abby huffed as she put the car in park on the driveway. She turned and looked at the both of the girls. “Let me see what Short Shit wants and then I’ll take you back.”

Nicole nodded and Abby got out of the car, walking up to the front door of Short Shit’s house.

“Jess!” Nicole hissed. “What the hell are you doing?”

She was currently going through Abby’s car, picking up random items and looking at them curiously. Jess had found a Nerf gun, two cans of silly string, a roll of duct tape, and a bag of rubber bands all in the back pockets of the driver and passenger’s seat.

“Why the hell would she need any of this?” She questioned, holding up the Nerf gun.

Just as Nicole was about to answer Jess’s question, Abby came running from the front door, screaming at the top of her lungs with two huge wet spots on her shirt. Running behind her was a short male wearing a white t-shirt and dark grey skinny jeans. His hair was up in this faux hawk sort of thing, probably because he was too lazy to actually put the whole thing up.

He was chasing her with a giant yellow and orange super soaker, cackling like an evil villain.

Nicole whipped her head to face Jess instead of out the window. “Give me that Nerf gun!” She ordered.

Jess didn’t hesitate giving it to her and Nicole quickly rolled down the window, aiming right for the predator and taking her shot.

He fell to the ground, dropping his weapon and clutching his side. Abby kept running for the car and got in to the driver’s seat, slamming the door shut. She high fived Nicole and Jess, saying her ‘thank yous’ to both of them.

“Oh it’s just a foam bullet!” Nicole shouted at him.

“Yeah, but do you know what she fucking has in that thing?” He whined, getting up from the ground. “She fucking supped the damn thing up and now it shoots like a fucking paint ball gun!”

Abby threw her head back and laughed loudly. The guy just looked at her like she was crazy and stepped up to the side of the car, resting his forearms on the windows. He looked at Nicole and Jess, giving them both an award winning smile that usually would have won girls over by now.

Unfortunately for him, they just laughed.

Trying to hide his hurt, he stood up straighter. “So who are these two lovely ladies you’re kidnapping Abigail?”

She snarled at her name. “Jonathan.”

“What! You have guests and won’t even introduce me to them!” He complained.

She sighed, defeated. “Nicole, Jess, this is Johnny. Johnny this is Nicole and Jess,” She introduced, seeming unenthused by all of it.

“Nice to meet you,” Johnny said with a small wave. Nicole and Jess mimicked his actions and waved back.

“So do either one of you have boyfriends?”

Wow. Way to be straight forward.

“N-No,” Nicole answered hesitantly. “We just moved here yesterday.”

“Well, welcome to Huntington!”

“Short Shit.”

Johnny looked over at Abby with an innocent look on his face. He only wished hers was the same instead of a death glare that he was currently receiving.

“What?”

“I’ll call you after I drop them off,” She huffed, hitting the window button and rolling it up before he could protest.
