More Than it Seems

At eighteen years of age, aspiring young artist Reina McAdams had everything going for her. She was well on her way into the Rhode Island School of Design, has kept a decent job at a local bar, and was constantly accompanied by her charming group of friends. Raised by a single father her entire life after her mother passed from childbirth, she became accustomed to her independent lifestyle since her father was usually away on abroad business meetings. As a resident of the higher middle class in Calyx, Maine for a majority of her life, she knew everyone and everything there was to know about the area. She could count off the number of members dwelling in each household, she could easily define each person using only a few stated descriptions, she memorized the history of the city, everything. But what she didn’t know was how one innocent encounter on a single lonely night could force her to second guess every belief she lived by. It only had to take one man by the name of Tyler Grey to turn her entire life around in a battle between reality and everything she never believed in, alongside the circumstances of what could never be.
