Mad Like Me
Cat has schizophrenia. Meds don't work for her. Therapy hasn't worked, either. seeing nothing else to do, her parents send her to a mental institution, hoping she'll find some solace there.
Well, she doesn't. Rosewood Mental Institution is full of what Cat would call loonies. The doctors are rude, the nurses are harsh, and the therapist is an ice queen.
But amazingly enough, Cat finds friends in Rosewood - a selective mute named Willow, a psychotic girl named Luna (both of whom are her roommates), a gorgeous, charming, and unfortunately gay boy named Jay. And, also amazingly, Cat starts to get better. But will she ever be able to leave?
