Violet never knew where she came from. All she knew was work, and all she needed to know for that was that the royal family she worked for - the king and queen and three sons - were to be treated with the utmost respect at all times, but relationships with them ended there. She had no problem with such a rule, as they were fairly private people.

Except for Prince Nathan. He was quite difficult to ignore.
