Solstice

Alice, James, Olivia, and Liam hear about the radioactive gamma rays that have populated the skies, but think nothing of them. At this false move, they are infected with the rays, and go into epileptic shock. They awaken with these abilities. All around the world, certain groups of teenagers are infected. South America, Europe, and the Artics'. They "covens" are put to test in ways where they must battle each other, and the government to remain alive.
