Chasing Fireflies
Have you ever tried chasing a firefly? The tiny, lighted bugs can fly, on average, 25 miles per hour, while humans, unless they're Olympic Track stars, usually run around 12-15 miles per hour. You don't need to be good at math to know that there's no way a human can catch a firefly that is in motion.
When Laurel Campbell realizes who her 'firefly' is, she also realizes just how hard it is to catch it. Her firefly keeps moving, almost as if it doesn't even know she's trying to catch it.
Soon, Laurel starts giving up hope of catching her firefly. Has she realized too late?
