Vampyric Nightmare

Christabella was now in her room.Her mouth couldn't stop smiling but her mind kept reeling with questions." What in the world was going on? Malakai cannot possibly like me romantically! Right? I mean, I'm just human. Vampyres are supposed to hate humans. Well, whatever the case it doesn't matter. I wont allow it. I'm supposed to be their property and if I become anything else I dread to find out what might happen." She fell back onto her bed again, staring at the ceiling. She lay there staring for quite a while her mind wandering off in thoughts and day dreams. As she lay she was so caught up in thought she didn't hear Malakai come in the room.

"Christa?" He said softly. "You awake?" Christabella sat up, smiling. This time he decided to sit next to her without asking permission. "I was wondering, since you haven't eaten in quite a while and I have no clue what you'd eat... if you'd like to go shopping for food with me?" Malakai managed, speaking softly.He was so shy.Malakai was supposed to be the Vampyre... the demon.Christa couldn't help but to have been amused at the irony of it all.

Slowly, she nodded "When are we gonna go?" She asked.

"Right now, I guess. Get up, love, and put on some shoes." He smiled at her yet again, a full-on grin this time, before leaving her.

After Malakai left Christabella looked in the closet for suitable shoes, finding some very nice white sneakers and a simple black button-up coat.She pulled them each on quickly, heading down the stairs, almost running as she did so.

When she found Malakai again he was sitting on the couch, talking with Hylas and Torquil. She walked out into the living room and he stood up and took her arm walking her toward the door. "Where do you two think you're going?" Torquil asked, raising an eyebrow.

"We're going to buy food. Not only are we out of food but we also have no food for Christa. Don't worry it shouldn't take more than an hour." Malakai said, rolling his eyes.

"Na-ah-ah-ah-ah!" Torquil exclaimed, practically jumping to his feet. "And who," He questioned in a sing-song voice. " approved of this venture? Hylas?" Hylas shook his head, unamused at Torquil's dramatic act. " I think," He continued, " That we should all accompany you.After all, we don't want Malakai losing another one of our pets. No offence to you, dearest Christa. " Malakai smiled slightly, and Christabella was suppressing a laugh.

"Wait... All of us?" Hylas asked. " Why the hell do I have to come?!" He stood anyway, knowing Torquil would drag him out of the house if he had to.

"Because," Torquil replied. " I said so."

They all walked through the lush green lawn together to a large garage. Torquil walked in and everyone closely followed his lead. Inside there were about four very nice - very expensive - cars. Malakai walked over to a black Ferrari. Christabella opened the door and slid into the back seat, closing the door behind her and Malakai got in the other side. Torquil naturally took the driver's spot, leaving Hylas the passengers' seat. Torquil opened the garage door and started the engine, driving out slowly and shutting it. Then he drove carefully down a slow and winding driveway, completely surrounded in trees, but once they hit the road the Ferrari sped up. Drastically. Christabella thought for sure that Torquil was going to kill them all; while Hylas and Malakai seemed completely unaware of the danger. Christabella sat back in her seat, trying to relax.Suddenly, she felt a warm hand close over hers. She turned to Malakai and he smiled shyly. With that, Christabella was definitely comforted.

Malakai couldn't help but smile when he looked at her. He knew he couldn't have her - no one would ever accept it - but he couldn't help but love how unique she was compared to all the other sluts they usually found.

Eventually, they pulled up to a beaten up grocery store that looked pretty much like it shouldn't be in business and parked in the lot. The guys got out of the car and Christabella quickly followed suit. As they walked towards the grocery store, Torquil began talking to her. "Christa, you can get whatever you'd like. Me and Hylas will go get what we need, so you and Malakai better stay together." He said. Christabella nodded and went off searching for food, Malakai close behind.

Torquil walked over to a counter and talked to the man behind it, "Excuse me, sir. I need some blood and some chicken, and ham if you have any." The man nodded and went into the back of the store. Elsewhere in the store Christabella and Malakai were getting everything she needed.Milk, some eggs, bacon, sandwich meat, and some bread. Oddly enough that's what she had lived off of when she was living with her Dad, so she had become quite happy with it.As she went about gathering these items though, she was certain she and Malakai were being followed by a tall, burly-looking man.

They decided to turn down a different isle to see if he'd continue fallowing them and he did. They kept walking around the store just out of his distance. As they were walking something caught Christabella's eye and she stopped to look at it for just a few seconds. It was a black Gothic cross necklace and she thought it was beautiful. Just as she was looking at it though the burly man that had been following them transformed into a large lycon. He came at Christabella slashing at her face and stomach causing large gashes. She lost so much blood she passed out before she could even scream. The lycon picked her up in his strong arms and took her away walking out a back door as to not cause a disturbance and get caught. Then took her to a nearby car placing her gently in the passenger seat and drove away quickly but not too quickly so he didn't get noticed.

As Malakai still walked unknowingly around the store he sensed that something was wrong. He looked behind him seeing that Christabella was no longer there. He retraced his steps til he came to an aisle that was filled with blood. His eyes filled with shock and worry as he saw the large puddles on the floor. He screamed for Hylas and Torquil. They came rushing to him and a huge fight broke out because both Hylas and Torquil were blaming Malakai because he was supposed to be staying with her.

As they were fighting a bullet flew past their heads. They all stopped completely still with shock. All three of them turned around to see rogue slayer, she has shoulder length wavy platinum blond hair and icy blue grey eyes. She had a thin body structure but most of all she was short, but no matter how short she was you could see the vicious rage in her eyes. She was holding two guns in their direction with a sneer on her face.

"Hello my precious prey, who have you been killing today." she said her sneer changing into a wicked smile.
