Ben stood under the small wooden structure listening to the rain patter on the roof. Nearly two months ago he wouldn’t have guessed in a million years that he would be in this spot, especially not for these reasons. He watched the top right window of the large house seeing a small pinpoint of light blink on and off three times. He turned the cap on his small flashlight mimicking the signal exactly. Shortly after, he heard the back door open and close very quietly. Now he was not alone on the small gazebo, but joined by his best friend. Ben took a deep breath and ran his hand through his hair. Nick lifted one arm in a puzzled gesture. Ben began to speak.
