I Am Here

Chapter 2

Brianna and I walked out of the airport and looked around. We were both in awe. I hadn’t remembered Germany being this… incredible. It was like stepping off into a whole new world. This place had a completely different vibe than California did. I actually rather liked the difference between the two.

I took in a deep breath, trying to gather the familiarity Germany brought me. I was home again and I couldn’t help but smile. I really had missed being here; even if it had been years since I’d step foot here.

“So, how in the world do you expect to go find him now, genius?” Brianna asked with a snarky, yet playful tone.

“Drive to their hotel, duh.” I matched her tone and gave her a playful smile of my own.

“And they’re just going to let you waltz in there? Yeah, right, I doubt it. I bet there are at least a million security guards wandering around.”

’Shit. I never thought about that.’ I frowned. I hadn’t come all this way to be shut down by security. “If we hurry our asses up, I bet we can beat them to the hotel. I’ll hide behind the wall and when they walk in… Bam! I’ll surprise him.”

“I hope that works,” she replied and we walked off to get a taxi. There was no way I was driving here. I was a horrible driver and the highways in Germany were a bitch at this time of day.

Thankfully, the hotel concierge let us in without problems. I didn’t know which floor the guys were staying on, so I just bought a random one for Brianna. I was sure I wasn’t going to be spending time in the room if I played my cards right tonight anyway.

“You can go to the room now. I’ll wait here by the elevators. I’m almost positive they’ll be walking by here soon.” I looked at my phone and was right. Their concert should’ve already ended by now and they were probably heading here through traffic as Brianna and I spoke.

“I was planning on it,” she laughed and stole one of the keys from me. “I’ve seen the two of you together. Rabbits. That’s all I’ve got to say.” We laughed obnoxiously at her terminology of Tom and I before she left me to wait.

I stayed leaning against the wall near the elevators while I waited for Tom and the rest of the band to walk in. Luckily, the sudden ear-busting screams coming from outside of the hotel let me know they had finally arrived.

“Damn, rock star, you have no idea how sexy you look right now,” I said with a smirk toying at my lips.

Tom turned around as if he’d heard a ghost. Immediately, security perked up and looked around like something was wrong.

Tom stared at me wide-eyed and surprised. I could tell he couldn’t believe I was really standing there. He waved security off, and within three quick steps, he was in front of me. He wrapped his arms around my waist in a tight embrace. It felt so good to be in his arms again.

He buried his head between my neck and shoulder. “I missed you,” he whispered and his breath sent light shivers all over me. I hugged him back just as tightly and kissed his neck.

“Eww, you’re all sweaty!” I joked when we released.

“Not exactly the greeting I was looking for, but it works,” he chuckled.

It was so great to see him again. My heart pounded with joy as we stared into each other’s eyes. I could see all the different emotions sweeping through his gaze as we stood there. They went from surprise, joy, love, than lastly; lust. The last one was as obvious as the day was bright.

Tom put a hand on either side of my face then kissed me. His lips molded over mine, his lip ring seemed to burn with the intensity of his kiss. Never had I felt this much passion between us before. It was almost intoxicating.

I regrettably pulled away for a moment. “Wow.” Was all I managed to say.

He smiled and kissed me again, this time holding the small of my back while pulling me closer to him. My body fit perfectly with his as we kissed. It proved we were meant to be together.

A few minutes passed and this time Tom was the one to stop first. By now, everyone else had left the lobby and went to their rooms. They were probably exhausted after a long day and didn’t feel like waiting for Tom and I.

He moved a strand of hair from my face and I shivered again. His touch still managed to feel like a jolt of electricity being sent through my body.

We hadn’t exchanged anymore words. Unexpectedly, Tom took me by the hand and pulled me over towards the elevator. He pushed the ‘up’ button repeatedly and tapped his foot impatiently.

“Come on, come on,” he mumbled as we watched the elevator numbers lowered to our floor.

The second the doors opened, I was pulled in. As soon as the doors closed behind us, Tom pinned me into the wall and kissed me again. His tongue traced my bottom lip, lingering as he waited for me to let him in, I didn’t hesitate for that long. My lips parted and his tongue entered my mouth, causing a little game of tonsil hockey to ensue.

After awhile of passionate yet aggressive kissing, we pulled apart; our breathing very unsteady. Tom kissed along my jaw, down my neck and to my chest. He pushed my shirt over a bit to give him more room to my exposed skin.

“Hey, wait a second,” I gasped as I felt his thumbs go through my belt loops and he pulled me even closer. I immediately felt his hard-on through his jeans. He kissed me yet again, trailing all the way up to my neck, causing me to tilt my head to the side to give him more room. God, it was impossible to focus right now. My legs instinctively wrapped around his waist and his hands fell to my ass.

He shook his head no. “Anna, I haven’t seen you in forever,” he exaggerated. “I want you. Now.” He said, our foreheads pushing against each others. His hot breath lingered on my lips, but only for a moment before he kissed me yet again. Man, he wasn’t kidding.

The bell to the elevator finally rang and the doors slid open. Tom carried me out and down the hallway to his room, never breaking the kiss.

He stopped in front of his door and reached into his pocket for the room key. He turned me ever-so-slightly so he could unlock the door. The green light went on and he shoved the door open, took a few steps in and then slammed it shut with his foot.

I started kissing and biting his neck down to his collarbone as we made our way to the bed, causing him to groan. He lay me down as soon as his knees hit the end of the bed. I unwrapped my legs from him. I felt him smile as he kissed down my chest.

He tugged greedily at my shirt before ripping it off and throwing it to the side. I ignored the fact that it was one of my favorite shirts and went straight for his jeans. He wasn’t the only one that was considered an ‘expert’ at taking clothes off quickly.

We quietly chuckled for a brief moment then got back to business. It wasn’t long before our clothes were scattered on the floor.

Tom and I had spent the rest of the night and most of the next morning together. It seemed like nothing could separate us now. We forgot about our previous conflicts and just enjoyed our time together. We were not sitting outside on the hotel’s balcony. Me in Tom’s arms the way it was supposed to be. He placed a gently kiss on my head and wrapped his arms tighter around me. This was how it was meant to be. Tom by my side forever and always.

That's it, the end of By Your Side/ I Am Here. [you like what I did there. I bet you did. ;)]

Once again I'd like to thank everyone that stuck with this story. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. <333

Now, just as I promised last night, I have another surprise for you all.
I've started writing another Tom fic. It's not as... let's say, happy and sweet as this one, though. It's a much more twisted story. And Tom's not from TH in it. If you guys want to check it out, that'd be great. I warn you though, it's not happy or pretty. The first chapter is here and it's not that bad. So like I said, if you want to give it a shot and read it, that'd be awesome. :)
