In a society which values youth above all else, James is a senior citizen at his thirtieth birthday. Immediately a majority of his rights are stripped away, and his possessions are searched for materials to benefit the New. Branded as a Used, James struggles to find justice when he is regarded by the rest of the world as inferior and a waste of resources. How long can the Used survive under the oppression of the Central Order?
