Our Destiny is Unknown

It was the best night we had ever had. We took a vacation to Florida, just him and I. we had just eaten at this really romantic restaurant and we were on the beach waiting for the sun to set before we went back to the hotel. To pass the time we were joking around and chasing each other acting like two teenagers in love. This night couldn’t have gotten any better. So I thought. We had finally stopped chasing each other and were just walking up and down the beach hand in hand. He started off saying ‘I love you. I always will no matter what.’ Then he started talking about how the army works. I’ve been through this talk a trillion times so I just nod my head at the right times to seem like I’m interested in something I know by heart. But then he said “I’ve been deployed to Iraq.”
