First, your nose starts to tingle and your eyes get foggy. Then everything gets quiet for a minute before the dam bursts and water covers your cheeks. You wanna wipe away the tears, but if you do no one notices that you’re upset. All you want is a shoulder to cry on, or maybe someone to pity you.
This is how we cry.
Why water. Why from our eyes? It’s like rain. When it’s raining we stay inside, we snuggle up with a blanket and watch romance movies. Sometimes we even dance in the rain. Tears are our safety blanket.
