Distorted Vision

1/1

Everything is moving in slow motion. My body. People. The wind. But not my mind. It moves at lightning speed. It understands its moving too fast for me to keep up, but it will not slow down.

As you run up that hill, your laughter echoes in my ears, in my world. Why are you so blurry?

I hardly saw the train moving toward you. I hardly heard the whistle. But I heard you scream.
It was too loud. I saw the red. The redness of your coat, the red of your blood, and the red of the hell you were sent to.

It doesn’t hurt me. You want to feel how it feels. You wanna hear about the deal I’m making.

If I only could, make a deal with God, and get him to swap our places.

You don’t wanna hurt me. Let’s see how deep the bullet lies.

I did not intend for this to be a story, but it became one.
