Unbound (The Wild Ride)

((09))

"Could this broad be anymore boring?" I asked Sasha as I laid my head against her shoulder in class.

"Yeah. She really could be." She said.

"I guess you're right." I mumbled, trying to stay awake.

Sasha laid her head on mine and I smiled.

"I can't believe you took Brian to meet your family." She said.

Just hearing her voice I could tell she was smiling.

"I was nervous. I thought he would see all the guys ready to kill him and turn around and
leave." I said.

"He wouldnt do that. He cares about you too much." Sasha replied.

"Do you think? Sometimes, I just imagine him looking at me, and telling me he can't do it
anymore. Telling me he misses the way his life you used to be, and that he could do so much
better." I said, looking down at my hands.

"Hey, look at me Cynthia." Sasha said.

I looked up at her and her eyes were hard.

"Don't ever talk like that. You are worth so much more then those two dollar hoes he was
screwing on the road. You're a real woman with self respect and a life that is going places.
You are the woman thata going to be there for him when he needs you and who's gonna
listen when he needs a shoulder to lean on." Sasha said.

I looked up at her and smiled.

"Thanks Sash. You always know what to say." I smiled, hugging her tightly.

"You know I'm not gonna lie to you." She said with a grin.

"Speaking of lying. When are you gonna dump Chris?" I asked.

"Cynthia don't start." Sasha groaned.

"I'm serious. He's the worst guy I think I've ever met. You deserve someone so much better.
Someone who's responsible, and dependable. Who has a steady job and strong family ties.
Someone always there for you, and who's easy to talk to. Someone who makes you laugh." I
said with a smile.

"Cee, you know I love you, but I'm not going lesbian for you." Sasha said with a laugh.

I laughed loudly at that.

"You know what I mean. I'm talking about Jonathan." I said.

"As in your brother Jonathan?" She asked.

"Of course. How many Jonathan's do you think I know." I asked with a laugh.

"You know that would never work, Cynthia." She said quietly.

"You've been with a loser so long he's made you think you'd never be able to make it work
with anyone else. But Jonathan is a real man. One who provides, and protects, and cares for
the woman he is with. He encourages her, and holds her when she needs it, makes her laugh
when she's about to cry. But brother is the whole package, and you know that. I think if you
think about it, you'll see that you've liked him all along." I said.

Sasha sat there quietly and I smiled.

At least she's thinking about it.

That's all I could ask for.

For now.

The class finally ended and me and Sash walked out, our arms linked.

Someone came crashing into me and almost knocked me to the ground.

"Ooh, I'm sorry." I said.

"Need to watch where you're going bitch. You think cause you're going out with a rock star
that makes you better than everyone?" Bianca growled.

"I should've known it was you. Just get out of my way. You're not worth my time." I said, starting to walk away with Sasha.

"I bet you're boyfriend would think I was worth it." She said.

I stopped in my tracks and turned around.

"Cynthia." Sasha said in a worried tone.

I ignored her.

I walked until I was right in Bianca's face.

"I've tolerated you for as long as I can stand. You can talk all the shit you want about me. It
doesn't do anything to me. I don't give a shit what you think. But when you start dragging
people I care about into this shit, that's when it gets personal. I suggested, if you want to keep
your colligene filled lips in one piece and both of your eyes fully functioning, that you shut
your fucking mouth." I growled aggressively.

She didn't say anything, just swallowed down hard.

"Good girl." I said with a smirk.

I turned around and started walking away.

"Nice job." Sasha murmured.

"Thanks. I guess she's not as dumb as she looks." I said, linking arms with her.

"Its okay Cynthia. No one wants your limp dick, pussy eating, faggoty ass, can't play guitar,
cock sucking boyfriend anyway." Bianca said.

I stopped again

"Oops. Spoke too soon." Sasha grumbled.

"That's it." I hissed.
