Back Where We Started From

I saw Kelsie run into the kitchen to cook, and as she ran past me... I complentated tackling her and demanding an answer. Right now I was too much in a fangirl mode to care though. Besides.. where was my phone? I needed to text my other friend Meth. If I didn't she'd probably go WoW nerd on me and "kill" me with a spell. Yeah.. weird... But I still love her.
I went into the kitchen and began to gossip with Kelsie.
"So like.. this is so awesome." I said, speechless, whispering into her ear.
"Yeah yeah.. now get out I'm trying to cook!" She said, shooing me away like an unwanted pest.
I rolled my eyes and plopped down on the couch, turning the tv on.
I switched it to some Finnish channel and began to quietly sing along to some song by H.I.M. (His Infernal Magesty). It said something about a vampire heart and Scorching hearts.
"Whatcha doing? Anyways.. the food is ready Lyssie!" Kelsie said, smiling.
"Lyssie... that's new." I said, cocking an eyebrow.
"Jemand ist übermäßig erregt." I muttered under my breath sighing.
Soon, I walked into the kitchen, sat down, and began to eat while enjoying a merry conversation.
"So.. Alyssa.. you speak german?" Jorel asked me.
"Ja. Danke for asking." I said, smiling brightly.
"That's odd.. do you ever speak it in public?" He said, grimacing.
"Nein." I said, chuckling.
From there, it was all shits n giggles. One joke after the other, the occansional swearing in German. In the end, we all ended up deciding give each other our number in case we ever got seperated.
We were making friends FAST.
"So.. wh-" I began to say, as I was cut off by my phone.
Push it by Salt n Peppa was playing, my ringtone for Meth, or Nethie as I call her.
They all began to mock my ringtone and I chuckled and said
"den Mund halten!" in a joking manner.
I answered the phone to be met with good news, bad news, and just awesome news.
