Boy Genius?
Felica followed Garcia out to Reid's desk. Reid saw them coming.
"Reid, this is Felica Matnson. She's new. Matnson, this is Dr. Spencer Reid. He's 'Boy Genius'."
"Boy genius?"
"Mhm."
"He's gotta be around my age. Twenty-five is as young as I'd guess. Any younger would be impossibly crazy."
"I was twenty-four when I started. I'm twenty-seven now," Reid told her.
"See. He's only a year younger then me."
"You're only twenty-eight?" Garcia asked.
Felica nodded. Morgan came over.
"Good morning Baby Girl," Morgan said.
"I will show you a good morning," she answered.
Every one laughed a little.
"Is Emily or Rossi here yet?" she asked.
"I don't think so. Sorry Baby Girl."
"Rossi as in David Rossi?" Felica asked.
"Yeah," Garcia said. "You know him?"
Felica knew he taught. There's her recovery.
"Yeah. I took one of his classes," she told them.
It was silent. Slightly awkward and slightly comfortable.
"So where exactly are you from?" Morgan ask.
"Wisconsin."
"That's not very exact," Morgan responded.
"Milwaukee. That's as exact as I'm getting."
"Works for me."
Morgan and Garcia waited for Reid to spit out some fact that no one wanted to hear, but he didn't.
"Did you live in Milwaukee your whole life?" Garcia asked.
"Mhm."
"Wow. You know, most of us are from a big city. Me, Morgan, Reid, and Emily. Well, Emily's lived just about everywhere. Does any one know where Hotch is from?"
"Actually," Reid started.
"Party at Reid's desk," Prentiss said laughing.
That made every one else laugh.
"Prentiss. This is the new girl, Matnson," Morgan instructed.
"Emily," she said sticking out her hand.
"Felica.
She shook Prentiss's hand.
"Was I the only one who didn't know about a new girl?" she asked.
"Yeah."
"Pretty much."
"Aha."
"Where's Rossi?" Garcia asked almost to herself.
"Penelope-"
"We're pretty much on a last name bases," Morgan corrected.
"Garcia," she said extra loud for Morgan, "I already know Rossi."
"Yeah, but he probably doesn't remember you."
"I know."
"Sorry to ruin your party," JJ said, "but we have a case."
"Don't we always," Garcia muttered, walking to her 'office'.
