Drowning
one of one.
The water around her felt like a part of her. It engulfed her senses, proved itself worthy of almost every part of her mind.
It felt like she was separated from the outside world, that nothing was wrong. Though, she knew it wasn’t, it always was.
There was a reason why she had been underwater for so long and why her lungs felt like bursting. There was a reason why no one knew she was there, or why she hadn’t put a swimsuit on.
All that mattered now was the wonderful substance surrounding her.
She was finally happy.
