She Used to Be a Pearl

"Hm, I wonder why she left." Daisy cackled after Caty got up.

I didn't say anything and sipped my water.

"I think she has a crush on you, baby. What a crazy-"

"Shut up, Daisy. If anyone is a crazy bitch it's you." Amanda fumed.

"I wasn't going to call her a crazy bitch." Daisy said innocently.

Everybody rolled their eyes and mumbled under their breath. Daisy continued chatting my ear off about how slutty the waitress looked. I wanted to get away from her so badly but right now she's my only friend. Besides my mom, dad, brother, and sister. After I hooked up with those girls and said that stuff to Caty, the guys have barely been speaking to me. I know I deserve it.

"Hey baby, let's ditch this bullshit and go back to my place." Daisy whispered as she rubbed my leg.

I nodded and got up.

"Where are you guys going?" Kennedy asked.

"Back to my place." Daisy answered as she rubbed my chest. We started to walk away when Garrett yelled "Try not to catch anything!"

"What did he say?" Daisy asked.

"I don't know." I shrugged.

"Johnny, why don't your friends like me?" She whined.

Because you cheated on me.

"I don't know." I told her.

"They all love that Caty bitch. Maybe you should date her."

"Don't ever call her a bitch." I gritted through my teeth as I started the car.

"So now you're standing up for her? She must be a pretty good f-"

"Enough Daisy! Maybe they like her because she never cheated on me!"

Then she started fake crying. I hated that. She always did it back when we first dated. It was annoying as shit because it sounded nothing like she was really crying.

"I know you're not really crying." I stated.

"Why are you being so mean?" She whined.

"Because you had no right talking about her like that."

"You're so not getting any tonight." She said with arms crossed.

"Fine." I said as I pulled up to her place.

She got out and leaned down before walking away.

"Just so you know, she's not good enough for you. I can't wait until you realize that we were meant to be."
