Damned.

8-Diah

She only glared at them. White, white, white. Too many lights on... Diah squinted, hating the blue blotches in her eyesight. The woman who claimed to be her mother pulled Diah by the wrist, and led her to a man who had just injected a girl.

The man then turned his attention to Diah. She glared at everything about him. Diah watched as the young girl was carried away by the men and out of the corner of her eye watched more of those "men" walk behind Diah...as if they were going to take her. Diah blinked hard, avoiding the shadows she saw crawling on the walls.

"You must be Diah."

Because he looked like a shadow at first glance, Diah just had to say it: "You must be Death." She replied rudely.

"Dihana-" Her "mother," Dani, whispered harshly at her and smiled sweetly at the man. "I suppose you are Mr. Peeter? You remember our conversation on the phone don't you?" Dani asked desperately.

"Of course I do Mrs.Hale, your daughter will be in good hands."
Diah scoffed, and folded her arms over her chest. Mr. Peeter motioned with his hand to someone behind Diah. "Take her to her room please."

There was a slight tug on her shoulder, as if to turn her around, but Diah pulled away harshly. "Please do not touch me." She says in an emotionless tone. Mr Peeter cleared his throat and two men grabbed hold of her. Diah did not scream, nor did she kick-she only glared. Death. He must be Death. They took her away, digging their rough fingers into her shoulder, not even caring if she were a girl.

Then Diah fights back. She screams as though she were getting murdered, she flailed her arms, and shook her head rapidly making her blond hair tangled...I don't want to be here. Dani runs to her daughters side, but Diah only kicks her.

"You are not my mother!" It was rare for Diah to throw fits. She was always angry, yes; but she never once yelled or screamed. Dani stepped back almost getting ready to cry. Mr. Peeter brushes past her with the same looking needle from before.

"Now Diah, be a good girl...."

Diah glared at the needle with her vivid blue eyes, and took a deep breath. "I shouldn't be here." Her emotionless tone was back again.

Mr.Peeter put the needle close to her skin...and Diah gasped slightly when it entered into her. "Now be a good girl..." He repeated.

Before Diah can slip into slumber, she spat in his face and laughed. "I don't want to be kind to Death."

Then, the shadows took over.
