Our Way of Life

The 9,000 foot long battlecruiser, XY-46, is returning from a seven year campaign in the outer regions. The massive amounts of energy that the engines use have drained the stocks so that they have just enough power for the bare essentials. Upon its return, the crew have found a massive meteorite headed for Earth. A 'malfunction' has caused the main engine to trip out at the last second, and a pilot has, in panic, activated the self destruct frequency.
