Summer Skies and Ocean Eyes

Calico McCandless is the new girl in Naples, a rich, picturesque beachside town in southern Florida. She followed her whimsical mother there, and now is living with her mom's boyfriend and his two kids. Out-of-place at first, she finds herself drawn to the ocean when the world is quiet and asleep at night.

She isn’t the only person fleeing to the ocean, as Calico quickly learns. It’s the one thing that connects her and the otherwise inaccessible Tommy, with his ocean eyes and indifferent demeanor. Rumors still circuiting from the suicide of his brother a year earlier, it’s obvious that there’s darker secrets the mysterious boy is harboring.

And like the tide, Calico is about to get pulled in.
