Thirty minutes later and my mom and Scooter had to pry the baskets off Ryan and I.
“If you two stay calm and not hyper during the interviews and photos you each get one bag in the dressing room.” Scooter said sternly
“You? Being serious? Nah!” I laughed bouncing in my seat.
“Justin!” my mom said sternly which caused Ryan and I to sit still.
Before I knew it we were at the venue.
“Now remember stay calm, answer questions maturely, shoot down any rumors, and have a great time” Scooter said as the door opened. Ryan and I got out followed by Scooter my mom and Usher.
“USHER OVER HERE!”
“JUSTIN WHO IS THAT WITH YOU?”
“JUSTIN OVER HERE”
Usher and I posed so they can get quick pictures of us before Scooter rushed me down to the first interviewer
“Hello Justin, how are you doing this evening?” She asked
“Hello, I’m doing great thank you. And yourself?” I asked
“I’m doing great thanks for asking! Who do you have with you tonight?” she asked eyeing Ryan
“That is one of my best friends Ryan Butler. He is visiting right now so I decided to bring him along” I motioned for Ryan to come and join me.
“Hello Ryan it’s nice to meet you. How are you enjoying your experience so far?” she asked
“It’s nice to meet you also. This is surreal. I mean it’s all so new to me I didn’t know what to expect.” He replied.
A few more question were answered before we walked over to the next one.
“Justin after this you have to take some photos with Victoria Grace then do a few interviews then you can go ahead and head on in to find your seat.” Scooter said. I nodded and walked up to the next interviewer.
“Hello Justin how are you enjoying yourself so far?” The interviewer asked
“I’m having an amazing time so far. I’m looking forward to the show and meeting new people.” I replied
“What do you think of performing with Victoria Grace?” he asked
“I am looking forward to it. I cant wait to meet her.” I replied. I saw from the corner of my eye that Jessica, or should I say, Victoria was talking to the interviewer I was just at.
“I hope you enjoy the show and good luck tonight.” He said shaking my hand. After I left him I turned around to meet Victoria.
“It’s nice to finally be able to meet you Victoria” I said while smiling and winking my right eye so the paps couldn’t see.
“It’s such a pleasure meeting you also Justin. I’ve heard great things” She said while giving me a hug
“She smells amazing” I thought as I gave her a hug
“VICTORIA ! JUSTIN! OVER HERE!”
We both turned and posed with eachother while facing the cameras. After that was done we walked over to the first reporter
“Good evening you two! Why you both look amazing tonight!” The reporter said
“Thank you.” I said
“So how do you feel about finally meeting eachother for the first time?” the reporter asked
“its such an honor. I’ve heard his music and I have to say I am a fan” She smiled
“I can say the same thing about her” I replied
“Are you excited to perform together tonight?”
“I know I am! It will be such an amazing show!”She said
“I heard the both of you are up against each other for best song of the year. How do you feel about that?” the reporter asked.
“I honestly did not know that. Did you Victoria?” I asked. I seriously did not know that. How come I wasn’t informed on that?!
“No as a matter of fact I did not know.” she replied
“I guess we will just have to wait and see.” i said showing I didn’t want to compete against her.
We finished the interview posing one last time before hugging each other and walking away. I walked back towards Scooter.
“How come I didn’t know that Victoria and I were up against each other for the “Best song of the Year” award?” I asked confused
“I didn’t know ether J B” Scooter said shrugging his shoulders
I finished the last interview before heading into the venue. As I walked in I ran into the Jonas Brothers, Miranda Cosgrove, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Taylor swift and Zac Efron.
I quickly found mine and Ryans seat and waited for my mom, Scooter, and Usher to show up.
