Is This Love or Merely Lust?
Meeting the new band.
Jessica and I walked into our fathers company, we were coming to see our dad for a few hours. Dad had told us there was a new band coming in and he wanted us to see if we liked the demo CD. Because Jess and I like the same type of music (Rock/Screamo/Hard Rock etc) we were to decide the fate for this new band.
Bam, our personal friend had recommended the band to us, was going to be here too, seeing as he also like Rock music. We walked up to the office and Jessica asked what studio dad was in. I turned my iPod on and started rocking out to Avenged Sevenfold Jess grabbed my hand and lead me down the hallway. She knew this place way better than myself, if I didn’t have her with me I think I would have to call dad and get directions, this place has been in our family for years but I still don’t know my way around yet.
“Let me tell you ‘bout a girl I know who comes to life when you take off her clothes” I sang along with my iPod we walked into the studio singing and out father looked up to see us he smiled brightly, and walked over to us
“Hello girls” he said and I took out my ear buds, no one else was in here with him, the new band must not be here yet I thought, “Would you like to sing while we wait for the new band?” he asked and we both smiled and he smiled back knowing that our smiles meant two yes’s, we walked into the studio and grabbed the headphones provided and placed them on our heads
”What are we singing?” Jess asked and I shrugged
“You can choose” I said, me and my sister do duets all the time, dad said he will offer us a record deal when we both finish college, providing we both got good marks.
“Hey Jay, you LOVE this song” Jessica said smiling evilly, she always called me Jay, my real name is Jane, she was the only one that was aloud to call me Jay, and she took the liberty of doing it anytime she could. She ended up picking Scream by Avenged Sevenfold, I laughed as we both have danced dirty to this song before, we waited for the scream at the beginning to end and we started singing the song, we had sung the song before so we knew what we were doing.
“Caught up in this madness to blind to see, woke animal feelings in me, took over my sense and I lost control, I’ll taste your blood tonight” Jessica sung the first verse, I saw dad disappear for a minute then come back with some guys that were obviously the new band. I smiled at Jess who smiled back, dad nodded for us to go on, and we sung the chorus together

“Scream scream scream, they way you would if I ravaged your body, Scream scream scream, the way you would if I ravaged your mind” Jess sang loudly into the microphone, she was talented, very talented, she did the screaming because well, I can’t scream, so she does it for the both of us.

“That was great girls, we’ll have to do another one later, but for now, come meet the new band Bam has told us to sign” he said we nodded and walked out happily,
“Bam!” I said and threw my arms around his neck hugging him and hugged me back and chuckled, “Haven’t seen you in ages!” I said smiling, ignoring the stares I was getting from the other men in the room
“Sorry, been busy with the new Jackass movie” he said I pulled out of our hug and Jessica hugged him straight after me,
“Jessica, Jane, these are some friends of mine,” he said motioning towards the men in gothic gear, I smiled “this is Jussi, Jyrki, Timo-Timo, Bazie, and Archzie. They make up the band The 69 Eyes.” He finished, me and Jess looked at each other, and smiled and nodded both of us thinking the same thing ‘we knew who these men were'
