Little Remains

I continued to cry whilst Josh was holding me, for about five minutes. I had stopped now, I wanted to stay here longer but I guess I couldn't of. "I'm going to the bathroom, and then can you bring me to school? I'm not in the mood to walk “I said sincerely

"Sure thing, Lucy" Josh said as he let go of me, I weakly smiled at him and walked quickly to the bathroom. When I got there I just re-did my make-up. Once I looked decent, I exited the bathroom and closed it lightly. "Bye, I'm going to school with Josh "I yelled. I got mumbles of responses.

I closed the front door. Josh was in the driver's seat, his car parked perfectly

I finally approached the car and sat in the passenger's seat, closing the door effortlessly. "Lucy are you sure you want to go to school?" Josh asked concerned "Yeah Josh I'm sure, I didn't know her terribly well. It's just sad for this to have happened, I'll be fine" I admitted. "Okay?" he replied sounding doubtful. I turned to him and my blue eyes met his brown ones "I'm sure" I said with a grin.

He kissed my forehead "okay" he said sounding more convinced. The journey was a quick and silent one; I hummed a familiar song to myself

We soon approached the school and nerves seemed to suddenly kick in.
