"Can I go out with my friends tonight?" I nervously asked during dinner. Lijuah cooed.
"Of course, what time do you think you'll be home?" My mom asked.
"I'm not sure, maybe eleven thirty."
"Oh, no. No, ma'am," My dad answered.
"Okay - " I started.
"Audrey's going out tonight, and so are we," My mom stated.
My dad rolled his eyes. "Honey, that's too late."
"She's sixteen and I apologize that she has a life. But I refuse to be that horrible bitch of a mother."
"May I be excused?" I asked.
My mom looked down and bit her lip. I just walked away.

My phone started vibrating as I walked into my room.
"Hello?" I asked.

"Caleb?"

"Is there any possible way that you can come get me now?"
