Lost In A Moment.

Kiss Me.

Hannah couldn't believe it was Saturday already. She remembered when she had told Jack, Kaitlyn and Emily that Alex would join her for Jack's party... They had pretty much flipped. To say they were excited to meet him, would've been a understatement. It was pretty much everything they talked about when they were at school. Hannah loved the fact that her friends were so excited to meet Alex, but it also scared her shitless. What if they didn't like him? What would she do then?

She glanced over at Alex who was tapping his hands against the steering wheel casually as they were driving towards Jack's house where the party was being held. Hannah couldn't help but find it weird how he looked so calm, little did she know that Alex was freaking out inside, counting to ten over and over again - not wanting to pull his hair out because of nervousity.

She rested her head back against the window and sighed as she came back to the question which had been killing her for days; what if they didn't like him? She had slowly started to get feelings for the guy, and he really made her feel amazing. He made her laugh and smile all the time, which was something Matt hadn't done in a while. Though, Alex also scared her. She was afraid he would one day disappear and leave her with a broken heart. A heart that had finally started to gather itself.

'We're here,' Hannah said as she saw Jack's house in eye's reach.

Hannah glanced over at Alex who smiled at her and nodded as he pulled over and parked the car against the curve, leaving the radio on. None of them got out of the car, nor did they say anything. She looked over at Alex who had his hands tightly wrapped around the steering wheel and his eyes were focusing on something ahead of him. 'We don't have to go in,' Hannah said and this got Alex's attention. He turned his head around and looked at her, his hands loosened the grip a little.

Alex took a deep breath, shook his head and slowly released the steering wheel, his knuckles white as snow. 'No. I meant what I said, Han. I want to meet your friends,' he spoke and Hannah bit her bottom lip as she looked at him. He rubbed the back of his neck, 'I'm just,' he whispered and let a low laugh escape his lips. 'Nervous?' he said the word like it was the best he could come up with to explain how he was feeling. Hannah looked at him, 'You're... You're nervous?' she asked and Alex laughed. 'Hell yeah! Of course I am, Han. I mean, I'm meeting this girl's, who I really like, friends,' he said and laughed while the radio continued to play songs in the background. 'Anyone would be nervous,' he finished and Hannah blushed.

'They'll love you, Alex.'

He looked at her and grinned. 'You think so?' he asked and bit his bottom lip down nervously. Hannah chuckled and grabbed Alex's hand. 'Yeah, I know so. They would be stupid not to,' she whispered and winked. 'Let's go in?' she said and Alex nodded. She let go of his hand and opened her door when Alex suddenly said, 'Wait.'

Hannah turned her head around and dreaded the worst which was that he changed his mind. 'Yeah?' she asked and Alex blushed. 'Uh, could I asked for a favor?' he asked and laughed. 'Something to take my mind of things,' he continued and Hannah situated herself so that her body and face were facing his. 'Uh, depends...' she answered nervously.

'Kiss me.'

Hannah looked at Alex and her mouth dropped. 'What?' she asked and laughed nervously as she pushed the strand of her hair that fell down behind her ear. Alex chuckled and repeated the two words, 'Kiss me,' before he continued with, 'if you kiss me, I'll be able to concentrate on that and not wondering about when your friends will strangle me.' She couldn't help but laugh a little before she bit her bottom lip down. Alex looked at her and didn't say anything. He just... Waited.

She looked at him and parted her lips a little but no words escaped. He licked his bottom lip, while his brown eyes were locked with her blue ones. After a few seconds of no movements or speaking, Alex decided to be the one to break the awkward silence. 'You don't have to. I'll... I'll be fine,' he mumbled and opened the door. Hannah grabbed Alex's shirt, which made him turn his head around quickly. Hannah's lips pressed against Alex's and for the first time, Hannah had caught him off guard and not the other way around. She smiled against his lips as she thought of this fact, and Alex turned around completely as the position he was in was slightly painful. Hannah pulled back and let go of Alex's shirt, grinning mischeviously.

'Come on,' she said and opened the door to her side. 'We're already late.'
