Lost In A Moment.

Memories.

Hannah pulled the car over as she entered the Riverdale Park parking lot. 'Please Alex, be here,' she whispered as she held onto the steering wheel with her dear life. If he wasn't there, she had absolutely no other ideas as to where he could be. She opened the door of her parents car and climbed outside, hearing the sky roam above. She looked up and realized that it would probably rain anytime soon - and there could possibily be thunder on the way. Not really caring about any of that, (the only thing that mattered was locating Alex) she pushed her hands into her hoodie pockets and headed towards the only place she could think off.

'I like it here,' Alex said as he lay with his head on Hannah's lap. His brown eyes were closed from the rest of the world, while that playful smirk of his was still on full display.

Hannah smiled as she stroked her fingers through her boyfriend's messy hair. Alex had just colored it, it was now coffee-chocolate dark, matching his brown eyes and dark eyebrows. 'Yeah,' she whispered as she looked at the non-moving lake. It was a really peaceful day at Riverdale Park. It was a sunny and surprisingly warm day; and the fact that it was pretty much empty of people, surprised Hannah a lot. She'd thought it would be packed with parents taking their younger kids out for a stroll. 'It's really beautiful here.'

Alex sat up and shook his head, his fringe bouncing off his forehead. 'No, it's... It's more than that. It's my... It's my secret place, y'know. I can think here, escape from everything,' he said and smiled happily towards Hannah who nodded. He grabbed her hand and kissed the top of it before lacing his fingers around hers. 'Actually, it's our place,' he said and grinned. The change made Hannah smile like a fourteen year old being asked out on a first date by her crush.

Raindrops touching the tip of her nose brought her back to reality and she realized that it would soon be pouring down. Hannah sighed as she continued down towards the white Gazebo where she had met Alex for the first time months ago. Alex had been right, with calling it their place. Surprisingly enough, Hannah was kinda thankful for Matt cheating on her. If he hadn't, she would probably still be with him and she wouldn't have met Alex that night. Hannah looked around and could make out a couple of people walking towards the parking lot in the south.

The only noises she heard was the trees swaying in the wind and rain dropping harshly against the ground as it had begun to pour. Hannah's brown hair stuck to her face but she really didn't care. She wanted to find Alex. She needed to find him. As one single raindrop touched her bottom lip, she couldn't help but giggle quietly as she remembered the day they'd been hanging out in Hannah's living room doing absolutely nothing.

'Hey Han?' Alex mumbled as he lay on the couch while Hannah sat on the floor with her books spread out everywhere. She had a test coming up, a big one, and she had to ace it. 'Yeah, 'Lex?' she replied as she pulled the yellow marker across a sentence in her book.

'What is the one thing you want to have done before you die?'

Hannah turned her head around and looked confused at Alex. 'What?' she asked and couldn't help but let a low giggle escape her lips. Alex, who had been sprawled out on the couch with his arm over his eyes, removed the arm and tilted his head over so that his eyes locked themselves with hers. 'Right now,' he said as he pushed himself up and was now sitting up straight. 'If you knew you would die tomorrow, what would be the one thing you'd wanna do? If you could chose only one thing. What would that be?' he asked again.

She put her marker down and bit her bottom lip, 'I- I don't know..' she answered honestly.

Alex grinned as he sat back, his back pressed against the sofa wall. 'I would wanna perform in front of a big crowd. My own songs of course.' Hannah smiled as she saw the dream flash in front of Alex's gorgeous brown eyes.

'I would like to be kissed in the rain,' she said and blushed. 'It's stupid, I know, but I've always wanted to be kissed when being completely soaked. It just- It looks so romantic,' she said and Alex chuckled. Hannah smiled at him and turned around to go back to marking the pages, when Alex suddenly stood up and straightened out his jeans and t-shirt. 'Are you leavin'?' she asked and looked at her boyfriend who shook his head. 'Come on,' he said and grabbed her hand. She stumbled up to her feet and frowned a little as her foot had fallen asleep.

'Alex, I have to study. I have a big ass test coming up,' she argued as he grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the hallway. 'Just come with me, okay? This will only take a minute, I promise,' he argued back as he stuck his feet into his sneakers. Hannah did the same and within a second, the two of them were out in the garden. 'Wait here,' Alex said and smiled at Hannah who rolled her blue eyes but did what he told her. Alex walked off to the side of the house, grabbed the hose and pulled it towards the tree in the middle of the garden. 'What are you doing?' she asked, mostly to herself as she watched Alex throw the hose over the branch. She couldn't help but laugh as he looked rather funny jumping up and down. Finally, he managed to get it over completely and he stuck it between a couple of tiny branches. 'Alex, it's really cold and I really have to study.'

He turned around and frowned, but still had that playful smirk on his face. 'Just.. Wait,' Alex said and laughed as he skipped over to the corner of the room. Hannah really had no idea what he was up to. Hannah looked at the sun as it was slowly disappearing behind the clouds as the night was slowly taking control. 'Okay, go over there,' Alex said and pointed towards the tree.

'Alex..'

'Just do it, will you?'

Hannah sighed but yet again, Alex did wanted and slowly made her way over to the tree. She turned around and saw that Alex was already standing in front of her. She laughed. 'What are you up to?' she asked as she stared dreamingly into his brown eyes. He grinned and suddenly drops of water started to fall from above and within minutes, both of them were soaking wet. Hannah shrieked as the water was surprisingly cold. 'What in the name of..' she screamed but was silenced by Alex grabbed her hips and pushing his lips against hers.

The kiss was sweet, and soft. Alex's hands softly rubbed her hip bones while his lips moved against hers expertly. Hannah lifted her arms and wrapped them around his neck as she pushed her body closer towards his. He pulled back and whispered, out of breath of course, 'you got your kiss.'

Hannah laughed as she looked into Alex's brown eyes. 'You know, if I get sick because of this, I will be kicking your ass.' Alex laughed as Hannah leaned in and pressed her lips against his again - both of them completely forgetting the fact that they were still standing under the hose.

And she had gotten sick. Two days after Alex's stunt - she had already gotten a snotty nose and fever and both stayed for two weeks. It had been worth it though. Hannah smiled as she continued down the path she'd been on for about ten minutes.

Then, she stopped dead in her tracks as she saw the somebody she'd been looking for. She stared straight ahead and saw her boyfriend Alex sitting on the diving board with earphones stuffed in his ears. His fingers were swirling the cord around while his eyes were locked with something out on the water. She swallowed the lump in her throat as she slowly, and nervously, made her way out on the board. Alex didn't move at all. Hannah had a feeling he knew who it was and didn't need to look.

'Alex.'
