Jenny and Derrick are more than happy being just good friends living in two very different luxuries in Fort Myers Florida and keeping their home life and feelings completely separate. Attending the same high school and being in the same peer group seems to be enough for the two and she leaves it to the boys (Ben, Daniel and Corey) to help keep each other out of mischief in the times they aren’t in school.
One day though fate takes its toll and Derricks Poor gone rich Georgian father is the reason for his own sons kidnap. The cause is his fathers main issue. Money - Or should we say too much of it.
With Derricks father liking to gloat and use his money for the wrong things it quickly opens up a whole city of hate for the family and whole world of envy from the locals.
Things in Florida may not have been so bad if it was only one who had been kidnapped but the price for Derrick was two more. Corey and Daniel were taken too. Though death seemed immanent and the only option for the three Derrick managed to escape with his life after witnessing Corey be murdered he left Daniel for dead and returned home
Returning to high school for a final day to tell Jenny and Ben he was alive and tell them his plans.
Unable to bare it Jenny followed. Packing her bags and leaving her disapproving family behind. And taking the plane to her and Derricks new destination. Whitby England.
Getting there the pair settle into a new life. Friendships grow stronger into a unbreakable love but as Derrick gets a job and Jenny falls pregnant they have to make the decision. Do they remain in England in the luxury they own or do they accept Derricks promotion and return to the States as mature 19 year olds and break the news to their parents on their current relationships.
As the decision is made and the plane lands will the couple regret their decision and will the past come home for dinner
