I met her on the streets

"This is where you'll be staying Miss.Toni." The maid said as she gently put down Toni's spare clothes and towels.

Toni looked at the maid's name tag written in neat cursive that reads out 'Mary'

"The bathroom is to your right of the room." Mary said in a calm airy voice that makes you want her to talk on and on forever.

Toni looked around the room taking in the fresh faint smell of cherry bloom. She felt as if she was in heaven. In the middle of the spacious room was a king sized bed with creamy colored sheets matching the walls with light mocha colored pillows. The room was light dimly with a beautiful chandelier. Toni's eyes tried to take it all in.

Mary's voice brought her back, "It's always good to see master alex bring home a girl."

Toni's face turned a dark red as she shook her head, her dark locks flowing heavily from all the grime and dirt.

"Hmmm, well you know what I think? I think master Alex has taken a liking to you... I hope to see you around more often Miss.Toni, now you just sit right here. I'll go and prepare the bath for you." Mary left with a smile and a slight bounce in her walk.

Toni stared at the bed and ran her hand over it. The cool material started warming up beneath her hand, the bed was one of the biggest she had ever seen.

In the corner of her eye she saw a lilac white silk night grown laid out neatly and walked over to it and picked it up, framing it over her frail body.

A cough could be heard.

Toni turned around only to see Alex leaning against the door frame lazily with his arms crossed, eyes focused on her.

"I see that you saw what my mother picked out for you. Do you like it?"

Toni's eyes widen and she quickly ran over to her her notepad.

'It's pretty but... very revealing.' The note pad reads and Toni's face had a uncomfortable expression pasted on it as she fidgeted under the watchful eyes of Alex.

He smirked, "Yeah, I knew she would do something like this. So I brought you a T-shirt and some sweat pants. I think it would fit you."

Before Toni was able to write 'Thank you' Mary had finished preparing the bath and is now quietly shooing Alex out.

"Master Alex, you shouldn't be wondering into a girl's room like this. How scandalous."

As Alex was being pushed out he said that he would come back to talk to Toni after she is done with her shower, he shut the door lightly.

"Master Alex! What did I just say? Scandalous! Very!" Mary's voice can be heard faintly.

Toni collapses on the big soft chair in the room.

Breathing out slightly she gathered the clothes that Alex gave her and walked towards the bathroom.

The bathroom much like the bedroom itself was huge; it was light dimly with candles making the room seem relaxing and romantic.

She climbed in to noticed that even after all that time the water was still warm. She let herself sink into the water till she was fully submerged. After a while she started to run out of air and she came up to take a breath her hair now pasted to her face. She relaxed as she slowly played with the water. The air was fill with a sweet smell and Toni couldn't help but just to stay there in the warm water. Though, she needed to wash up first then she could lay here all she wants. Toni reaches for a bottle with a label that states 'shampoo'

Her slender fingers working the dirt out of her hair. Ah, the feeling of being cleaned. After she was done she searched for the plug to drain all of the water and stepped out of the big tub. Pulling the white towel over herself she couldn't help but smile. She loves the feeling after a shower. In a way it feels as if you just washed all of the troubles away from your body. As if you are starting out again as a blank piece of paper waiting for someone to draw on you.

Water droplets slid down her collar bone disappearing under the towel. In front of her was a mirror and she inspected herself. Bruises were forming near her shoulder and she had a few scratches that was slightly puffed up.

Her teeth glinted as she thought 'Damn those people.'
