"So, what do we know of our partners?" Sapphire asked Yami.
"Just that they're elves." Yami replied. Sapphire nodded as she paused to let him fall in step with her. They began walking again.
"Interesting... So-" Sapphire paused, looking around.
"What?" Yami asked quietly his grip tightening on his staff.
"Time to move." Sapphire whispered as she began to walk at a very fast pace. Yami fell in step behind her.
"Sap, what is it?" Yami asked quietly.
"Something, but I don't know what. Just keep quiet and stay behind me." Sapphire replied quietly as she unsheathed her sword. Yami did as she said knowing when she got like this not to argue no matter how much he wanted to.
