When that secret

Came out for all to know.

It’s the day I recall most clearly.

Sitting there with a pen in my hand.

Frankie sat beside me.

I don’t know when.

I looked over and there he was.

I guess Mikey might have been there too.

“Hey Frankie.”

God I sounded like an idiot.

“Hey Gee.”

Someone stop me before it’s too late.

“I love you.”

He looked up at me with those beautiful eyes.

“I know.”

“Oh.”

“And I love you too.”

Those five words made my heart explode.

I don’t think I’ve ever been happier.
